Lalco Residency

F A N T A S T I C.. spelled slowly. I moved to India after nearly a decade. Given the pandemic crisis, my family & I had a lot of apprehension and anxiety about our stay in Mumbai. We were looking for a decent accommodation in proper Mumbai. After few online searches, we managed to get through Lalco Residency and I spoke to a gentleman by the name Amjad. His voice gave me a lot of comfort and we booked it immediately. Upon arrival and a basic quarantine stay in the Hiltons, we moved in here. Much to our surprise, amidst the pandemic and, us arriving from abroad, we were greeted with utmost hospitality. The safety and hygiene measures were set at high standards and impressive. About the stay - we stayed here for 20 days, didn't ever desire to change it. The housekeeping staff, receptionist, chefs, servers - each one made our stay pleasant and memorable. I need to name a few personnel - Gulshan, Pranali, Chefs - Sanjay & team from Gharwal serving us some of the finest delicacies. The breakfast had quite a good variety including their stock of juices. The rooms are spacious, well lit and maintained well. They also have a smart fleet of drivers and I can name Hemant as one of them who took special care of us while touring the city for different needs. To sum it up, if you are looking for a reasonably luxurious stay within a considerable budget of ~ 5000-5500/day rate, Lalco will be worth trying as a first choice. We stayed here for a week. Let me start with the strength of this hotel. Great staff: friendly staff team willing to accommodate guest needs. Affordable: its very affordable for longer stay. Spacious: the four bedroom apartments are very spacious.. Helpful airport shuttle The rooms need major updating. The living room furniture is covered in dust. The entire apartment is super dusty, if you are allergic to dust this is not the place for you. The beds were comfortable but my kids got sick due to the amount of dust in the apartment. I also discovered a lot of I cleaned mess under the bed from folks who had previous stayed here. The house keeping personnels did clean this when I brought it to their attention. Unfortunately the experience of our accommodation here was below average.

Man staff at the front are mostly likely to help you. Lady staff would not. Asked for city tour (announced by the hotel) she only said, already all booked. Next day, after checkout, asked for the transfer to the airport, also anounced as a service of the hotel. She asked to wait. After several minutes, a asked her about the car, she said. Sorry, alread full booked.Room was clean. No other complains, but would not return. If I were in the management I would transfer her to another departament.

So, we booked this place through a friend because he said this is one of the best places around. But I am sad to say that this place didn't live up to my expectations and in the end, they gave my old parents a very hard time! They charged INR 4000 for damage to the sheets(turmeric) and they told them about this at the moment when they were checking out. After paying for it, when my mother asked for the sheets because she had paid for them, they didn't get it. My parents had a flight to catch and they couldn't wait. This is just one part which was a disaster at the end. We had taken about 6 apartments and none of the apartments was perfect. In one, the sink was getting clogged. In one apartment, the kitchen was stinking so bad that no-one could use it. They have their rules that they like to follow but they don't adhere to the standards they claim to give to guests. extremely disappointing! I will never recommend this place to anybody.

I was visited on 14 August for my sister Ring ceremony I had stay two nights in the same property ambience is good Housekeeping staff work is satisfactory but they need to improve the room service staff I had order some food they take longer time as expected and they don't give a proper set up of room service and all over is good Thankyou Warm regards, Mohit kumar
