the big disappointment in my stay of 4 days was the oozing of water from the bathroom into the living room. Despite the complaint, no remedy was available.

Concierge are so helpful during my stay. I really thank them :) They took care of me so well and make sure I was ok. Location is nice, very cozy and lovely room. It's very nice to chill out . Plus the breakfast is incredible!!

The view from the room and restaurants are breathtaking.which makes us to keep coming back....Excellent service by ganesh ...Guest relation manager shalaka pisat and front office team are always good to guest and doing the best service

Disappointing Experience! Disappointing Experience!

The experience at the Novotel has been shockingly disappointing! With such an amazing location one would have expected a flawless service and forthcoming staff to go with. It was far from that. The staff don't seem to care about their guests for instance when we checked in there was no staff to welcome the guests, the house keeping staff didn't show up with the basic amenities (which by the way was missing in the room) even after incessant follow up, the worst being the breakfast buffet at the Square, the staff kept us loitering for 10 minutes without a table until we asked to speak to the manager. What made up for the disappointing behaviour is the Olio staff -Pratik particulary and his team were very friendly and hospitable and Chef J.P made us some amazing cake and fresh fruit juice. A massive thank you to them! I woud not recommend Novotel as a staycation but definitely a place to chill enjoying the beach view.

An apt hotel which makes you feel in the centre of the hassle and bustle of Mumbai. A stone throw away from Juhu beach and close to most shopping, eating and fun destinations in Mumbai. Novotel is also about 30 minutes to the international airport. The hotel has selection of 4 restaurants including an All day dining, a Chinese Rest, a Lobby cafe and the by far the best of all JDV lounge which is probably the only place in the whole of Mumbai to boast of such a lovely outdoor lounge. The selection of food is varied in all its outlets and hence will satisfy most taste buds. A special thanks to the chef who was making my Ceasar salad (2 days in a row) as not only the dressing was perfect but also the grilled chicken served with it was tender and juicy. Also special thanks to the Dosa chefs and the Egg Station chef for serving me those amazing Egg white Omelette and also for remembering my order for 3 days in a row. In spite of all these advantages and positives I was surprised to see the so many areas of which needs immediate improvements and focus, with most of them being simple basis standards. A few of those I have highlighted: The sink tap in the room was loose and was moving in all direction as if it could be pulled out with little force. The grouting of most bathroom surely needed a complete redoing. The blinds were either broken or were not working smooth. The small side table in the suite was crying to be thrown away as it was discolored and had stain marks all over. I was surprised as to how such furniture could be kept in the room. The BIG doubt in my mind as to why such basis are not fixed and managed well. The colleagues (most housekeeping & front desk) seemed to be lacking the positive enthusiasm as most colleagues either failed to interact in a conversation or just simply greet/greet back. On arrival we had to ask for luggage assistance even though we arrived with 2 cars and had about 10 pieces of luggage. The staff in most F&B outlet were also not very engaging or attentive. It just made me feel that things were almost taken for granted as the hotel was doing good business due to the location. Their seemed to be a complete lack processes and standards. Similar experience was in the Gym as both the attendants were completely disengaging, and this was not for 1 day but all 3. They seemed to care less of what was happening and were busy on their mobile phones. Either a greeting nor an effort to interact or a thank you for visiting. I really want to highlight a few basis which will certainly make a world a difference: Basis greetings towards every customer, which is required at every location (this was done very well by the security guards at the hotel entrance). Basic cleanliness General maintenance of the rooms and the facilities. I would still want to highlight Shahzad (Hopefully I have got the name right), another gentleman (supervisor at JVD) and Ameya (I guess the banquet manager) who were 3 of the shining stars in the hotel. I could only imagine as to how successful the hotel will be if certain of these small attributes are well organized and put in place. I really wanted to have photos to share although as i was very busy with an event i could not take images.

Given old shabby dirty rooms ! Don't be deceived by their website ! The rooms are old dusty and just not worth the price ! Bed sheets are sticky even though we asked them to change them! Strange smell in the corridors! The whole hotel is a mess ! Very disappointing experience. The main restaurant has lots and lots of flys and Mosquitoes flying around whilst your eating ! God knows why they don't have fans ! It's just not acceptable..!
