saikrishna from Mumbai, India recommends this hotel Posted:  Room Quality: 1/5 Service Quality: 2/5 Dining Quality: 2/5 Cleanliness: 2/5

First of all this hotel was not listed with travel guru as per Hotel management (my ID TGU0001733598). RK residensy refused to give any accomodation, using Travel gurus's booking ID. When not listed, not confirmed, how Travelguru deducted money ? Had to search and book another hotel with higher price. thanks

Avoid like the plague! thieving staff Avoid like the plague! thieving staff

Absalute skank hole, iv never walked away from somewhere so angry, everyone around this area seems to rip you off. Hotel staff (not including the owner) are rude, one grunted at me as i walk past him where he was sat on the stairs where he spent of his time. (outside my door) They walk in your room with out knocking. I have travelled the world and ive never experienced this as acceptable. I ordered food twice once when the owner was there, i was over charged by a 3rd, then once when the owner had left i was charge over double of what was prices on the menu, i went down and complained but they wouldnt give it me back, the staff were sat around sniggering like hyenas. I came down a second time and tried again after realising i shouldnt let them get away with this and they coughed up 100 rupees. nowhere near the amount expected. If they ever do have the need to come into your room the rude staff also stand and stare at you at the doorway and dont seem to leave. i dont know if he was expecting money but he wasnt getting any more off me. The hotel was overpriced for what it was, they charged for wifi that didnt really work and tried to milk you any other way possible. Stay away from here! and dont get a taxi from outside, hail one from the road as they tried charging me 3 times the going rate.

Worst experience ever! Worst experience ever!

I am an Indian. I was travelling from delhi to vancouver.Had a connecting flight (after 12 hours)from mumbai. Would never recommend anyone to stay here. Not only is it over expensive, i paid 2,200 rupees for a room that didnt deserve more than 500 rupees. The manager will try to shell out money from you for everything. I had to pay 250 rupees for 3 hours of wi-fi, which is too much for such a location. The rooms are small and crampy. Hot water shower doesnt work. Overall, DONT GO THERE! Shell out like $10 ( about 550 rupees) more and you can find a better & much cleaner accommodation around.

In Slum - Ibis Prices In Slum - Ibis Prices

Goodness! We were recommended this place by the airport staff. Its close to the airport. Its fairly clean. I did see a cockroach in the bathroom though. Aircon and TV OK. No wifi. The hotel is literally in the slum. A short walk away is the Hilton, where we went for coffee and rooms only cost 60 more a night for high comfort. Staff are pleasant. Owner was not too forthcoming though. Price included lift from and to airport and breakfast. Owner tried to insist we pay for breakfast which was a badly made jam sandwich and sweet coffee. Plan and book your own hotel. Don't use this one. It is really low standard and expensive. It cost us 36 for the night. One of the most expensive and certainly the poorest quality hotel we stayed in over our entire 20 day tour of Asia.
