I write in connection with above booking at the hotel. We initially booked 3rd and 5th. As a result of late flight on 5th we extended the booking to include 6th. On 5th, around noon the room was being cleaned over while we were in the room. When changing the duvet cover, to our shock and horror, we saw the disgusting state of duvet which was merely being covered by washed cover. The duvet was covered with myriad of disgustingly unhealthy marks made from saliva, sweat, urine and what appeared to be seaman. To have known that such a duvet had been provided was a shock to our system. We called the management after the house keeping left. Within a few short minutes entourage of management team arrived and stripped out the duvet cover to see the state of duvet. The management team was joined by a few more members of staff. All were in a state of shock and started expressing apologies and finally ended up ordering the change of duvet. We informed them that we shall be pursuing the matter further. A few moments later after all left we were sent a bouquet of old flowers accompanied by two jars of cookies (for a couple 71 years old!). We complained about the nature of gesture. So they followed by an offer of complementary dinner. We expressed that what was being offered was not satisfactory. Later they called to say that they can't do any better. We are now seeking for the full charge to be refunded together with indication of disciplinary action on the person responsible for cleaning services. Our original booking was done through 'makemytrip'.

I had to change my room three times before I got a room I could sleep comfortably. There was smell of cigarettes in the first one (I had asked for a quiet non smoking room), the second one had water marks on the ceiling and walls. THIS IS NOT A FIVE STAR HOTEL. I was told the five star designation is given by the Indian Tourist board, its not an international five star. I have travelled extensively in South East Asia and would rate this property at bottom end of a four star. The rooms and furniture are tired and there was tape holding carpet in the hallway on the fourth floor. The breakfast area is too small for the number of patrons they get, its chaotic at peak times and they did not appear to have enough staff. We did not have lunch or dinner, so I cant comment. For what you get Its an overrated expensive hotel. Location is good though the street facing rooms are extremely noisy.

We stayed at this hotel last week for 6 nights. I found the hotel to be clean, well situated. The staff were always very attentive. Our pick up from the airport was really efficient and comfortable. Breakfast was full of delicious varied dishes. We chose to eat at the hotel for 3 of the evenings as the chefs were so accomodating.We would definitely stay again and highly recommend the hotel.

I stayed here for 2 nights, on the second night i struggled to sleep due to a loud noise outside my bedroom room 111, I called the porter at 1 30 am who told me it was water tanks being filled up, so i was moved to room 104 which was even louder due to planes going overhead all night, i did not sleep all night, i was tired and agitated the next day, i had a long flight to the UK, i booked through Expedia and have asked them to refund me one night due to the inconvenience and they are so far not willing to do so

We stayed at this hotel for a week, especially with the factor that it overlooks the beach. Right from the initial day of arrival, we found that there is issues in the room. Despite raising this with the cleaners and reception, nobody decided to address the matter. For example; the fridge had fungus, bathroom shower was leaking through the door and flooring was dangerous, as floorboards were loose and felt like you will fall through anytime. The restaurant connected to the hotel, where you have breakfast, was totally rubbish; the food lacked taste, the staff were totally rude and more interested in conversing amongst each other than helping the customers. When you order food or drinks, it would take 30min to arrive (If the staff remember to bring it), otherwise you would need to remind them 2-3 times and will have attitude also whilst bringing the goods. There is was a mix of intermittent high and very high pitched noises coming from the bar side of the restaurant, and despite warning the management, they did not bother rectifying the issue. There was also lots of flies around the hotel, and no measures to prevent them from entering the premesis. The entire layout and decor of the hotel was totally poor of a 5* hotel and does not reflect a Ramada standard hotel. It resembles more of a 2-3* hotel (if being generous). Will never recommend or stay again.
