Nothing great about the stay. Service was not up to the mark and rooms were not that big.. swimming pool was not accessible .. in short it wasn't worth spending Rs.8000. wouldn't consider coming back again.

Recently visited with friends for a stay in Mumbai, we got a room towards the city side, so the rooms are quite small, we ordered a Thali from in room dining and that cost over 1,700 Rupees, that highly over priced. Our Buffet Dining next day was at their Restaurant and that too was highly priced compared to the choice of food provided. Over all the place is perfect for stay if you get a Room towards Lagoon side. But there are other too good places for Food when youre in Mumbai and that are much much reasonable compared to Sahara Star.

Me and my husband booked their Earth Room for a staycation to celebrate our anniversary. After quick check-in formalities, we were greeted with rose petals and laal teeka (most authentic Indian gesture). And then we were informed that since it was our special occasion, we were upgraded to their Mercury Room. The room was a huge spacious room with a bathtub in the bathroom (which was decorated with rose petals for our anniversary), there was a photo frame with our photo in it, a box of chocolates and a red velvet cake and a complimentary bottle of wine! I was over-whelmed with the hospitality. The first 15 minutes in this hotel and I knew I couldnt have made a better decision to celebrate. The view from our room was just beautiful. The hotel looks amazing in evenings when it is completely lit up and you can sit back in your balcony and enjoy a glass of wine. We also went swimming in their swimming pool twice during our stay and since it was drizzling it was just us, so it was almost as if we had a private pool for ourselves. There are beautiful colourful daffodils by the swimming pool and the swimming pool is huge. We visited 3 of their hotels on our stay Mabruk for dinner, The Earth Plate for breakfast and East for Lunch. I looovveed each one for their own unique experience and I was glad I chose Mabruk for dinner, since it is open in evenings, has couches besides the lagoon which has some floating lotus candles, Arabic music in the background, basically completely romantic! Sandrol was serving us here and he gave us some really good suggestions based on our preferences. Loved their hummus, it is a must try. Next morning we had our breakfast at Earth Plate, which was really good. They have a huge spread and what I loved the most was they had two unique counters Health counter with 5 different healthy juices and a live counter serving kachoris and jalebis. Now coming to my most favourite, which was lunch at East. Firstly, they were informed about it being our anniversary that day so that had already decorated our table with rose petals which was such a lovely gesture. We told the chef that we were planning to try sushi for the first time and he suggested us with some sushis and some dimsums. We loved the same so much that we ordered the same dishes again and hogged literally till we dropped. There was a dimsum my husband had asked the chef about and then we ordered different ones, and to our surprise the chef got us 2 of those to try. Although, some room for deserts is natural and we ordered their Dark Chocolate Mousse with tamarind sauce. It was super super delicious!! I left this restaurant a completely happy baby. I would love to go back to this restaurant for their Asian food again. It is rightly said that after you enter a hotel, its people (hospitality) is what matters the most and I think the staff here has it figured out quite well. I am loyally going to celebrate many more occasions for all the pampering and amazing services.

Really very happy with Grecy and Poornima who takes care on all aspects ,we feel like home ,People now a days needs some xare and good dealings in this fast and hectick life,these two ladies are ** star of this***** star hotels and we will never forget Mr.Balsara who is ever ready to help at Morning Breakfast

One of the unique and the best properties to stay in Mumbai .It's good due to its proximity to both the airport terminals and excellent ambience . It has one of the largest indoor fountains in Mumbai and excellent restaurant to choose from of various cuisines
