Nice hotel in JUHU and very close to Iscon Temple. We enjoyed swimming during our stay. Many choices available in complimentary Breakfast.
This hotel is perfect for all purpose be it business or leisure travel. The rooms are very clean and well furnished with a big LCD Tv.The bathroom was Very clean, had all the shampoos, moisturizers, shower caps etc. Separate shower cubicle, no bath tub though. The complimentary breakfast provided to us was very tasty consisting of both Indian and continental food. The manager at reception can give a little bit more smile. Overall its a best hotel to stay in.
Staff At front Desk as well as in Restaurants were very helpful. Hotel front desk took all care for my transportation back to Airport without any charge. Room was very clean and all the amenities were there. I am very happy with the hotel as every thing was perfect.
Hotel is ok, the lobby n reception areas are clean. However the rooms are old, and if you don't have a sea view facing room, then the rooms lack good visibility. There is very little room for natural light in these rooms. Hence it was no surprise to find a cockroach in our bathroom. Most hotels provide free wifi with your stay, so it was quite disappointing to learn that the hotel charges for wifi if booked from certain travel agents. Breakfast was ok. Would prefer to stay in a different hotel next time.
though i have booked supirior room with sea view, but they refused to allot me the same , , in the evening only they changed the room, service is very poor, and basis of charges it is not worth, staying there. receiption is very in-coopertave, lift and other services are very poor, brweakfast is not at all eatable. will never think to go back

A really great option in Mumbai. I have stayed in all the hotels in this area and this is the best. It has a nice 'Indian' feel, characteristic and not overly westernised like many modern hotels in India. You feel like you are in the country. Great food, great beach vibe, comfortable rooms and great service. One of my fave hotels in the city. I would say though the prices could be a little lower. Just a nats too high.
The Hotel with direct acces to the Juhu Beach is a calm and relaxing Resort. The Breakfast buffet offers a good joice of Indian and Continental dishes. The Hotel and its Pool side are very clean. Due to its beautiful location and view over the arabien sea, the Hotel is frequently booked for wedding parties. Althoug there are many newer Hotels arround Juhu Beach, I still use to go to Sun n Sand, its very friendly and since years loyal staff gives me always a feeling to come back home.
I stayed in this Hotel on the Beach paying more than Rs 10000. The place is surely not more than 3 Star. The Lobby is small and mostly taken up by shops. The Coffee Shop is pathetic and feels like a Railway Restaurant at Breakfast time. They have Beach access but you are told its closed at 8.30 and the Guard advises you to go via the Novotel nearby!!!. Should be brought down and renovated in my view.
We've chosen the Sun 'n' Sand for a short stopover on our way back home from India and the location on Juhu Beach has proven perfect as it's only half an hour drive (even with the usual crazy traffic) from both the domestic and international airport in Mumbai. Check-in was friendly and professional, the resort itself seems to be very popular for weddings. Unfortunately our room reeked of insecticides - we just hope the cockroaches were as dazed by the stench as we were :-) Otherwise it was quite clean, there's a minibar and one could cook tea and coffee for free. Breakfast buffet was good - big choice and specially the Indian specialties were really tasty. The staff was friendly and very helpful, constantly refilling our coffee and bringing us omelettes and stuff we could have easily fetched ourselves. The pool is quite large and great for a relaxing swim. Unfortunately again there's olfactory disturbance: From the sea there's a constant whiff of feces. It got better around midday when the wind started blowing. Also, there are not enough umbrellas and chairs to rest around the pool so that everybody tried to squeeze into a little shady space next to the wall fencing in the resort - not really relaxing. There's very different clientele - from elderly locals just trying to relax to young folk and a nanny taking care of a bunch of shrieky children. It didn't disturb us personally, but we noticed some incidents in which these different attitudes led to arguments and we think there should be a concentration on a more homogeneous crowd (either families with young children and fun-seekers or older people and couples who want to unwind in a calm atmosphere. All in all, we would stay again for a brief stopover, but it's not the place where we'd stay for a beach holiday or a city trip (too far from the main sights). We were actually quite surprised to find out that this hotel is a five -star as we would have given a maximum of three to very bad four stars. One thing we really enjoyed: the very attentive staff in the pool bar and the spa area.
This is a medium sized hotel in a very nice location on the beach. There are certainly bigger hotels and hotels with more luxury but this one has a personal touch I enjoyed very much. The staff was extremely helpful especially the concierge. The pool area is nice and has access to the beach. There is a little surcharge for Wi-Fi and I wonder why they don't simply include it in the room rate. The only downside was western breakfast, which was extremely crowded and the quality lower than the rest of this hotel. No espresso machine, and bakery products of poor quality. However excellent indian breakfast.
