Plus: Rooms and amenities are very good - clean, spacious, free wifi, kettle, toiletries, including brush, shaving kit, etc. It is the first hotel in India that I have been to that has potable tap water. Breakfast has the standard fare both continental and Indian. It is tucked away from the main road and has good sound proofing, helping good sleep quality. It has conference facilities in the adjacent Acres Club. The good thing is that the room wifi works pretty well in the conference area too. Need improvement: Disappointing that they don't have green tea and wouldn't even provide on request.They also don't have bedroom slippers one would expect from a hotel of this range.

This is about the sixth time we have stayed in this hotel and is our choice of accommodation away from home. It maintains cleanliness with housekeeping never reluctant to be of service no matter what time you call them.The hotel offers consistent high standards with an embedded culture amongst its staff which is aim to totally satisfy the customer. Exceptional individuals who are noteworthy on this trip: Kaanish-lovely fellow who kindly weighed are suitcases on two occasions on the night before departure. We were over weight on arrival and so apprehensive about the weight. He was extremely obliging and provided the exact weight to the first decimal point for each piece on a tag. A big thank you. Mr Nitin-duty manager. We reported there was a leak in the bathroom and the air conditioning not working. He instructed the work to be done whilst we were away during the day however on our return we found that the room was in a mess and water everywhere. Clearly the workmen had not informed housekeeping and the room was not cleaned. When I complained he understood my horror and immediately upgraded us to another room and offered assistance to transfer all our belongings. Many thanks. Ragunath-runs the restaurant efficiently and anticipates our needs. Many thanks for accommodating our special tea brew every morning for breakfast! Mr Dev Mani-extending our stay with minimal fuss and arranging a further room for guests of ours and making it special. Many thanks. Michael-for answering all our queries and willingness to help easily. Do look out for these individuals as they and the rest of the team are there to please. My only reasons for not awarding full marks is because over the past 5 years I've always reported that the dining area is too small and that there is a need to increase sitting area. We are staying for leisure and having to get up early so that you get a seat is not restful! Further we requested to meet the General Manager on a couple of occasions as we are regular guests and that it would be nice to introduce ourselves. However this did not occur which was a shame. We look forward to returning next year.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We came to Mumbai by early morning flight, we wanted the room early, they gave by 10 when guests vacated it and it was cleaned. We had booked it along with breakfast option. The breakfast spread is good. I ended up having dinner both the days here only. Good points. 1) They were able to give early check in. 2) My wife has visa interview US consulate, BKC is not far from here so it was convenient to us. 3) I was not feeling well on second night, I ordered turmeric and salt to drink with water and they promptly delivered it. 4) On Last day they were able to extend check out by as I wanted to rest for few hours. Cons:- I felt the room space was ok and bathrooms are smaller. Overall we had a good experience.

So I actually stayed at Fern for 3 nights along with my family, and i have to say that the Hotel Team is One of a Kind, the service standards are to a level that u wudnt expect in Mumbai. A staff member called Kanishk who usually takes care of Chek-Ins will go out of his way to assist u in the best possible way. Also Mr.Nitin is a gem of a person to deal with; with his ever so smiling n gracious persona, on an all, the experience of staying at Fern was Outstanding!!!!

Nice hotel and value for money . Centrally located in Chembur near shopping centers , monorail and bus stop . Buffett Breakfast is with more options for vegetarians. You will get good deal if you book atleast few weeks before stay
