It was an excellent property. I was pampered to receive such a pleasant service. Room given to me was luxurious and well facilitated with all the modern amenities. Service was prompt and food was lovely. I also like the location as it was very convenient. I will strongly recommend this property.

We just completed a 19 day visit to 8 locations in Northern India and had the pleasure of staying at five different Oberoi hotels. This was our first trip to India and the Oberoi hotels introduced us to facilities and services at levels above what we have experienced at the best hotels in other parts of the world. We have stayed at five star hotels like the Four Seasons, Ritz Carleton, Sofitel and Ritz in many other countries and by these standards there should be a six or seven star rating for the Oberoi Hotels and Resorts. The facilities were modern, clean, opulent and very secure. In the case of the Oberoi, Mumbai, it was the largest hotel we stayed in and it was very well designed with a striking atrium in a nice location. The rooms were well equipped and our views were fabulous from our 19th floor ocean front room. The staff also catered to your every need even if you did not know you had a need. The staff made an effort to know who you were and anticipated your needs. The restaurant and food was also outstanding with a large buffet breakfast complimented by made to order Indian or International main courses. We also found it of interest that hotels offered excellent amenity packages in the rooms which seemed to be standardized across all the hotels. We also stayed in some outstanding Taj hotels in India that were in beautiful old palaces but felt that the level of service at Oberoi was even higher even to the extreme that the Oberoi hotels all had special patterned toilet paper. The hotel also had a fleet of large black Mercedes with uniformed chauffeurs which took us to and from the airport upon our arrival and departure. Given all the outstanding reviews of the Oberoi, Mumbai, one more may not be needed but we wanted to provide our thanks for a job well done.

The oberoi hotel next best of taj hotel it service is very good and the take care of customer. Also it is a best room , bathroom and food is very tasty and fresh. Thats why i love it forever and best wishes for oberoi

On the day of arrival, the hotel mistakenly noted our flight number, so I had to wait one hour for the chauffeur. I wasn't happy when I checked in at the hotel, but fortunately thanks to Danesh, one of the front office managers, our stay at the Oberoi Mumbai was great, as he very professionally apologized and proposed a nice discount on our meals in the hotel's restaurants and also a very late check out which was so convenient as our return flight was at 2 in the morning. So thanks again to Danesh for his very friendly and solution-oriented attitude.

The Oberoi at Nariman Point delivers on its promises. Very comfortable rooms, fantastic inhouse dining and an extremely serviceminded and accommodating staff. Short (walking) distance to the Fort district and the views from the pool are a special plus. While it is expensive relative to India, it is worth the money. /William
