Service is very slow. Need to keep reminding them of requests. Access key didnt work and had to request 5-6 times but finally got replacement key the next day at the reception.

I went to The St Regis in Mumbai because I couldn't book into the same Hotel as my Son, however it was only round the corner and the St Regis was much better, Reception is on the 9th floor and the staff are very good but not very knowledgeable about the whereabouts of a pharmacy, normally they're everywhere I only wanted a couple of items, I thought there must be one in the mall that's next to the Hotel, I looked for a long time and eventually found one going out the Back of the Hotel turn right about 300 mtrs down, there is a supermarket in the mall top floor I think handy if you need anything, there was plenty entertainment going on in the square in the shopping area over the weekend, seems like a place where people gather so it's fairly busy there's an Irish bar there if you fancy a pint, I don't think it's a particularly good position for walking for site seeing, which I prefer but there's a rail station near by and Taxi's galore, all in all a really nice Hotel with very clean with luxurious rooms, didn't eat there but bet it's really high standard, there's also a very popular nightclub at the top so if you're staying in the Hotel no queuing at the bottom. Just in case you're like me, I've been to India a few times and always book Hotels, flights myself online, but this time I didn't get a paper copy, big mistake when I got to the Airport the gentleman in uniform wouldn't let me in said I need to phone the airline but their phones next to the doors didn't work, this chap wasn't very nice probably very bored, after asking him a few times how do I get in, he eventually said someone is coming, when the airline guy came out with evidence of my flight he still wasn't going to let me in even though it was in front of him, not a nice guy and giving a visitor a poor example of their hospitality, thankfully the real people are not like this. so remember a paper copy or the same on your phone if you have one which I didn't.

Overall a very satisfying trip. Best choice in terms of location & shopping, dining options. Entertainment choices around location super. The new suite with pantry made it an interesting choice for longer stays.

It's not often these days that you get to a hotel from the time you walk in they display sincere hospitality and are willing to do the little things to make your stay memorable. St. Regis Mumbai surely was a great experience during my last stay and to name just a few I can recall who made it extra special, Celio from butler services & Maryam from guest relations. I'd a small electrical issue which was more me not being abreast with latest gadgets, anyway it was resolved immediately but what was refreshing customer/guest relations was that Aditi Rampal the guest relations manager stopped by my table at breakfast next morning to inquire if everything was fine, haven't seen much of this lately. Kudos to St. Regis Mumbai, keep it up!

Demo Trip We were on the 34th floor. Close to the party spaces on 37 & 38 floors. Some additonal sound proofing could be installed to reduce sound and bass penetration into 34th floor rooms.
