I loved the room. Good, clean n spacious. Just one thing to say that the minimal facility should be made free and not be chargeable.

The hotel stay was very pleasant, due to the great surrounding area and good quality professional service. Although the Cooling in the room was not appropriate as also the bed was uncomfortable. But the overall experience was very nice and will love to stay again at the property.

Hotel reception service varied enormously! We were very diassapinted that they could/would not contact, or give us the telephone no of our onward hotel in Kerala in order that we could check if our transfer was on plan! - The hotel driver was more than helpful - but not really his job!

I decided to celebrate my milestone birthday in the sprawling sea-facing room of #TheResort. I checked in on my birthday & though my ID card didn't show my date of birth.. I somehow expected, I may need to fill that up somewhere. Nevertheless check-in process was okay as I had done a pre-booking. My room was on the 4th floor & a lovely view of the sea.(Location: 5/5). In the monsoons.. the beauty just doubled. Immediately upon check-in, I headed to the restaurant for lunch.. & the food too was to my taste. I opted for the buffet style to enjoy the spread.(Chefgets4.5/5- no complaints - improvement possible though). Now moving to the service aspect - a dear friend of mine .. all the way from Mauritius - who knew my plan of this celebration.. had reached out to the hotel few weeks earlier to know the options to surprise me on my birthday. To which the #reservationsteam paid no attention. Seeing that there has been no response in spite of the discussion she had over phone & email, she sent a reminder email stating if you haven't taken any action yet.. just forget it.. to this also there was no response.(Reservations Management: 0/5). Nevertheless, my friend was very sweet enough to order a delicious cake for me from other vendor. I planned to cut it in the evening by the sea.. so asked #roomservice to keep the same on their refrigerator as the Mini-bar was really mini - to which they refused stating outside food is not allowed in the refrigerator. So the cake box had to be squashed into the minibar. In the evening, after the birthday cake was cut & still a substantial portion remained - a smiley restaurant staff offered if he can put the cake in the restaurant room (Pleasant surprise)(Service :3/5). Now you'll ask why this rating.. but this is overall rating for therestaurant staff. Later upon me checking on a poster outside which stated - "You can get discount as much as the candles on your cake" - 1st time felt so happy with my age! ;-) But when I checked about it at the reception they said you need to check with the restaurant... When I checked at the restaurant one helpful waiter mentioned about getting discount at the Buffet... which also was good enough! (Considering the number - my age) ;-) However when I got the bill to be signed, I was informed there's no discount on the meals.Disappointed! This shows the level of confusion & chaos in the management. I was informed later that the discount feature was on some adventure activity & spa treatments. I still jumped in joy hearing the spa part & the "heavy" discount due to the no. of candles on the cake. But -there was the clause- this had to be availed on the birthday! But due to all this confusion of sharing the incorrect information - my birthday was over! So I had a long discussion at the Spa -BodyScape,trying to explain to them why I couldn't make it to the spa on my special day. So finally post checking with the management, I was offered the discount. The Masseuse, Remy at the Spa was excellent at her work. It was really a "Tension Reliever".(Spa treatment: 5/5). One very distinctive unexpected treatment that I received was - in spite of saying it's my Birthday at the Reception, Restaurant, Spa - none of the staff had the courtesy of greeting/wishing me for my birthday. This is the least thing one expects upon making a mention! And not to hear this from a hospitality industry - which calls itself to be 5* was totallyINAPPROPRIATE. Also there are few things which you expect are present & must in the room are: dental kit, bodywash, shower cap, hair dryer, slippers etc. These were the things which were not available proactively & were available only on requirement basis. The kettle & tea/ coffee mugs in the room were unwashed. All this upon asking took a good amount of time to be handed over as expected.(Room Items: 2/5) - 2 points for the bed & other furniture being managed well. A humble request to the management to really take a look at all the points mentioned - visit other 5* hotels in the city to check where are you in their comparison with regards to the service. You've an added advantage in terms of the location. Some of the disappointing points mentioned above are also a part of the review & feedback from other visitors a few months/ years back... But looks like there's no action taken! Hope to find some drastic favorable change in case I ever think of visiting you again! Adios for now..!!

Its a nice hotel with well maintained rooms, amazing swimming pool, obstacle course for adventurous people. Food served is delicious with varieties. Located next to aksa beach. Staff is courteous and polite. Good place to spend weekends.

Excellent luxury rooms.Best pool view and huge garden to hangout. Best for family, kids as they have many adventures activity for kids and adults. About food they have excellent arrangement, buffet with best services available.

Had a fantastic stay. Beachfront hotel with a nice pool , good dining options and decent rooms. The view from the room was mindblowing and the Mumbai rains made it better. Wish the queen bed provided had a large mattress instead of two single mattress joined. The rain shower in the guest room was the best- amazing water pressure of the right temperature.. Overall a great place to visit with family or friends. Good value for money.

4 couples who went to relax during the weekend. Easy to reach from Mumbai, just across the ferry into Madh island. Liked the resort - nice swimming pool, have a few other sports facilities, tends to get a bit crowded during the weekend. Buffet breakfast / lunch / dinner available and great variety. To watch out for - a) room service can be improved , even basic tea , coffee takes a lot of time and is not well prepared. B) any extra facilities if requested in the room , takes a lot of time or is chargeable. Not sure if this is the practice in other competitive resorts ( eg ice box , extra glasses ) C) ala carte menu takes an extraordinary amount of time to order , consider ~45mins waiting . Ideal for 1-2 nights stay , not more than that. Thanks
