It was ok with its price. I deem my stay in West End hotel pleasant, largely owing to the nice front desk. I believe it is crucial for a hostel to succeed in long term to have reasonably good service.

We had come to Bombay for some medical treatment for an uncle and we chose this hotel as it is 2 minutes away so was very convenient. Most of the time was in the hospital so no issues with the hotel. The breakfast was nice, the rooms are really spacious but the hotel could do with some upgrading. Staff were nice.

Staff really unfriendly to females but not males (obviously!). Shabby and very outdated. Unclean and not family friendly. Whole place needs knocked down and rebuilt. Expensive restaurant with substandard food and chargeable WiFi...

This hotel is under refurb however that should never effect the general hygeine or tidyness of rooms. When we drove up I was shocked , the younger reception staff seemed dis interested and it had a musty dejected feel to the whole place , Furniture and fittings were old and unclean. Our room had all the curtains drawn when we pulled them back we realised why the outside area at the back of the hotel looked like a bomb site , the small juliet balconeys were covered in debris dust and pigeon droppings and seemed unstable , the doors and windows did not shut properly and there was such a bad damp musty smell i purchased air freshners from the nearby chemist shop which didnt help much. There were bare wires ,musty wardrobes adisgusting filthy fridge , plaster falling off walls doors that didnt shut , ancient air con , damp patches and the rugs were covered in hair dust and stains this was in the best one as they showed us 4 others before we settled on it in desperation. The line is old torn and stained the mattresses bulked out with sunlounger cushions so uncomfortable i gave up sleeping , The fans sounded like steam trains and everything was mucky dusty and old i was gobsmacked. The windowless bar was musty but staff good , watch your bills my advice pay as u go dont book to your room there were a few wrong bills as people i saw checked out. Lifts wer old but worked ok but the one lift was out of action that led to queues at peak times. Room service was cheap but hte flask brought with my coffee in looked like it had come from a building site it was filthy. Food was ok they need more european choice for breakfast as apart from toast you had had it. All in all we stayed put because it was a good location , staff mostly very helpful but for the price which wasnt a budget price considering the hotels under renovation and had has lifts not working , rooms out of service etc was high for such a poor quality they need to address the cleaning/hygene issues as even a newly renovated room if not cleaned properly will be dire in a few months. Replace dust mite infested curtains , upgrade linens and towels , sweep rooms thoroughly and if you cant clean mats dont have the in the rooms , Get rid of fridges they are a health hazard . replaster and make safe wiring. Offer better choices on the buffett and make sure drink tabs are sorted for customers I wouldnt stay again

The best gourmet restaurant in town. It serves all types of food and is much cheaper than other restaurants. Most foreigners prefer this restaurant as the hotel has its own ambience and privacy. Good place for family, friends and couples who wish to enjoy their lunch or dinner. The welcome that you receive is just like a maharajah type.

The hotel is old,damp and not at worth the price paid.they cheat us with money related matters ,they told us the wrong conversion rates for dollars and take more money from us..not at all good ..it's no where next to being called four star
