We spent two days at the Blu Haze Resort and the experience was not what I had expected to be. Firstly the room smelt musty.. secondly the we were initially to be given a garden facing room and that one was kind of creepy.. damp and smelly ... lights were not working properly . The alternate room given to us was slightly better than the initial one the positive point being ample sunlight and the view from the 5th floor. We had ordered water and were told that the complimentary water will be given to us which turned out to be water filled up in unsealed bottles by the hotel staff...one of the bottles belonged to Indian Railways... We happily bought sealed bottles for which we paid service tax. The WiFi only worked in the hotel lobby where the receptionist personally fed the password in our phones... I'm still trying to figure out the secret behind it! the extra bed provided was a poor quality mattress and three of us ended up sleeping on the same bed... we paid for the extra bed anyway. The dinner buffet was pathetic where people were served undercooked food and the time difference between serving two chapattis was close to 20 to 30 minutes. The tables and mats were dal stained. The only plus point that this resort has is that it is away from the hustle and bustle of the town . Avoid this place at all cost!

We were disappointed initially,as the hotel is 12 kms away from the munnar main market.BUT this worked out very well as we were away from the hustle bustle of the market.Hence,location wise it is SUPERB!! The room-spacious with a huge balcony.The VIEW is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL. Infact,you get to see the best view of the tea gardens from here. We had beakfast and dinner included in our package.The buffet had great variety.However,the food was average.

We stayed in blu haze around christmas 2016..we had a garden court room..very spacious rooms, good valley view, very good room service. Only let down was the food taste i guess they can inprove it..i would definitely recommend it to people

The first thing this hotel provides is stunning views from the we stayed in. Staff is friendly and the service was good in general. We stayed in the Super deluxe room and it was spacious and clean. The bathroom looked dated. The towels provided were not cleaned properly. Food is another front where they can improve.

Blue Haze is a good place to unwind... the hotel is located some 11km from Munnar.. we were a family who checked into the Super deluxe room in the upper floors on 30th December 2016 and checked out on 3rd January 2017.. Firstly, the manager and hotel staff were friendly and suggested us a lot of sight seeing options that we thoroughly enjoyed.. The mountain view from this hotel is truly stunning and this is surely a big plus for this hotel.. The rooms were clean.. Hot water is available twice a day.. Coming to food, the hotel has got a menu that boasts of North Indian food.. though the food was good, the morning buffet options were limited and the same menu got repeated with minor variations.. We were eager to taste Authentic Kerala cuisine and thanks to the benevolent hotel manager Binu we got to taste Kerala cuisine on request on the penultimate day of our stay.. The hotel manager, Mr. Binu also helped us with a car for sight seeing while officially there is no hotel travel desk.. We had used the Spa and the spa was good having been done by professionals.. we felt lot more better.. Overall, it was a good experience in the hotel.. Coming to improvement points, the restaurant can have more food options.. since, the hotel is frequented by families having kids like us, there can be a Kid play zone and there can also be a fitness zone for people who wanted to combine fitness with vacation..
