It was indeed a terrible experience. We had booked this hotel for our marriage anniversary but it was a complete disater, we left the hotel next day although we had paid for 2 nights. We expect a refund from the hotel for the second day unutilized stay. Your website has given 5 star but the hotel doesn't comes any where closer to an average 2 star hotel/resort. The location is very far from Munnar, it took almost 5 hours drive in the hilly track from Munnar, no road direction of hotel anywhere while reaching hotel. Room area was very congested, bathroom was unclean, no heating facility, no television/radio, very limited dining options. There was no hot water in the shower/taps, the water was muddy, in sum it was a horrible experiece staying for one night. We left immidiately next morning without a refund for next night booking. I had paid about nine thousnd for staying in this hotel for two nights, but couldn't stay for more than one night. I think your travel guru who advised us for this hotel should have been knowledgeable and advised us correctly. I will never recommend this place to anyone and ask Travel Guru to be more responsible in advising their customers. I require clarification from you, why this hotel has been listed as a 5 star property on your website. Is this not a misrepresentation of facts and putting into inconviniece to customers like me. I hope to get clarification soon from you. R. K. Sinha.

I have been visiting Munnar for about 10 Years now, in last 10 year this place changed from a pristine beauty to ratrig. You go any place, its overcrowded and polluted with tourists. It has long lost it charm. But if you still want to enjoy what Munnar is about Camp Noel is the place. Yes, Its hard to reach, no connectivity, no great food, But it all worth it. You want to go hiking/trekking to peak, you want a superb lash green tea garden its all right there. And yes no one else other than you. Its a beautiful place. Location is divine, if you like driving, Driving thru Shola Forest range will worth everything. You will find lot of people cribbing about food, connectivity and what not. But the point is, if you want that you can stay at your home and order food. It did worth it. We really enjoyed 4 days we stayed. Now the tip part: Stay in Cottage. They have 4 rooms though but cottage is the place to stay. Pick any. Food is just alright, though the Chef and staff is really courteous. Do the peak trek, dont miss it. Go to tea garden. And yes you need your own vehicle to reach here. But if you like driving, its super fun on these windy road.

Excellent supportive staff and very scenic Excellent supportive staff and very scenic

Far away from munnar, no Internet helps you to really cut you off from the mad race of social media. Beautiful location, gardens and excellent staff. Amazingly pleasing and supportive staff to help in meeting the special needs we had for gluten free content wanted for us. Very much a place to be there and chill out and winter and cold feelings will keep you well reminded. Very cold and enjoy Bon fire outside and inside the cottages also !!! High fives to Tom , Anu and all staff at Camp Noel

Extraordinarily scenic and isolated place, but keep food expectations low. Extraordinarily scenic and isolated place, but keep food expectations low.

First things first - word of caution: To get to the place from Munnar, drive to Top Station first and then reach this place via Koviloor. Should you choose to drive on the road that Google Maps shows, you are in for a very treacherous and scary jeep track through a desolate and private estate! Also, no n/w other than BSNL works, so make sure to download the map in Munnar before starting the scenic ride. Lot of tourist traffic will slow you down (40km in ~2hrs), but that cant be helped. The property is other worldly with cottages that are old time, with a must have and must use fireplace (bathrooms need some attention though), ample green space all around (kids will have a gala time on its gentle slopes), abundant floral variety, 360 degree view of mountains and valleys, and a pristine (albeit cold) air to die for. The food is a bit of a let down. Mandatory buffet at 600/- head, with very limited and pedestrian veg options turned us off. But the staff was kind enough to accommodate a-la-carte provided we gave the order for dinner at lunch time! People wanting Kerala food are in for a disappointment though. Free Wifi is available only in the reception area but the connection is flaky at best. The staff is top notch. Ever courteous, ever smiling, even with teeth chattering cold to beat and ever prompt. From experience - stay for 2 nights, take a book, laze on the lawns and return rejuvenated. Carry tons of winter wear. Visit the nearby strawberry and misc veg farms, go no where else.

We cut short our 2 day stay to 1 day. Place is very scenic and beautiful. We were 2 couples and a kid and there is little engagement on the property itself so go with right perspective and plan. Its quite isolated so nothing much else to do. Meals you are fully dependent on the resort itself and a dinner buffet costs 550/- bucks which for us had two veg dishes, rice and chapati. The staff definitely is very helpful and polite and second best part of property after the scenery. Our big put off was our scary and nerve wrecking ride through the off road route that google map shows. Its damaging to the car and we reached that section at dark so that made it quite a hell ride. The verbal guidance of staff was not very helpful to us and more confusing. Ensure you add stops on google map of Vattavada so that it takes you to the alternate and actual motorable route. There are no mobile signals except bsnl so configure route in Munnar itself.

Beautiful cottages with fireplace.Overall awesome experience. Must visit place if you want to spend your vacation not in crowded munnar. Ensure you carry cash since you cant receive OTP to complete transaction through mobile.

Among the 5 hotels during my 1week kerala tour, this is the best ever for Buffet services for both breakfast and dinner. Such a delicious food by the chef. Since my mom n baby fall sick we order for room delivery. The hotel staff packed all those foods in very good condition and polite as well. The receptionist such a very good guy. Keep it up your good services guys. Best regards Suresh Malaysia.
