The Food was amazing. Staffs were kind and polite and the room was well decorated also one can view the beautiful greenery. Would love to stay in this hotel again.

Room was not maintained properly and it was very uncomfortable. Food was ok to taste have to much better. Staff wasn't alert at the service. Overall, its an average property needs to improve.

I was not happy with the experience. There was no food arrangement we reached there. They made some excuses and we had to wait unnecessarily for the food. Otherwise rest was fine. Staff was very polite and location was also relaxing.

We checked in to Mahindra on 8th Jan 2017 stayed till 11th Jan. I must say great hospitality by resort front office staff and housekeeping staff. Resort is very beautifully maintained like as its folds in front of tea Gardern beauty. As the resort is very old one from 1996 wardrobe is very old and esp in Room no 1115 the kitchen sink door almost fell on us!! However it was fixed next day on request. Mahindra makes excellent money out of this resort need to replace old furniture esp. re do kitchen if possible. Any issues you rise they attend very promptly and all staff are very courteous!! The Food is very expensive as the buffet is too much to eat but choice of vegetarian is very good!! We used their sight seeing trip to Goudamparai a private estate was excellent with adventures of river crossing Bermuda bridge crossing including food for just Rs.1000 per person was super!!. Great experience with Spa Ayurvedic product!! If you know how Tea made please do not do Tea factory visit Lockheart Tea factory they are looting money through this. However their Tea product is very good as they export 95% of it.!!! Over all stay in club mahindra is great!!

The location nestled amidst huge mountains, lakes and unending tea gardens, which gives it a unique ambiance. The property is well maintained and cozy. The entire team headed by Head Chef Suresh is motivated and proactive in their approach to guests. That makes the biggest difference. Like Amal Babu would be your guide for an early morning trek to Sitadevi Lake and cheerfully continue services to guests throughout the rest of the day and conclude the day as a DJ for a grand outdoor dinner. They pamper you with the most exotic meals be it breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The property is located about 20 kms that is 45 mins curvy drive from Munnar city and about an hour atleast away from the main attractions in and around Munnar. The property is one of the best by club Mahindra but avoid the hotel units as they are old and need refurbishing. The food as usual with club Mahindra is very good though the dining area always feels crowded and do not have enough people to serve u quickly. The front office staff was a mixed bag with some helpful and some hopelessly lame people. Try staying and the cottages and villas away from the main unit they have much better view from there

A very nice location with breathtaking views. The main reason for 3 star rating is rooms in the main central building have worn out feeling. Needs upgrading. Good choice of breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff.

We stayed at this resort for 3 nights in Oct-16. I stayed at this resort as Club Mahindra's member guest. On arrival, I was given the room which was really bad at almost every aspects e.g. view, flooring was very slippery (it was hardwood but not sure why it was like that), very dirty bathroom panels, floor. Kitchen was dirty and freeze was very yucky. Although we called them earlier and we reached at 4pm (later than mentioned time and check-in time) room was not ready. There was disconnect between reception and housekeeping as reception told us that room is ready but housekeeping was mopping the floor when we reached there. On second day, room was changed due to literally bugging them for it. Kitchen: Very small freeze and not in good shape (freezer was almost full with ice formation) and not properly cleaned. It was equipped with pots/pans and cutlery but nothing fancy about it. No bottle water provided and advise to use tap water (we used our own bottle water). Bathroom: Very dirty and all the corners were filled with mould and dirt. Toilet seat is very cramped behind bathroom door and there is no way you can seat straight while doing your business. There were broken hook beside toilet seat, i guess it would be for phone. Shower head had all three option, handheld, overhead shower and tap but could not figure out or operate how all those work. Worst part, hot water is good for not even one person. After that you are always at risk as how long you can have hot water. BE CARE FULL WITH THAT. Hair drier at sink was broken and risk of getting electric shock. Closet space outside bathroom was reasonable size and good storage/organizing space. Bedroom/Living room: Room size is very spacious as we had one bedroom suites. King size bed in bedroom with plenty of space around it and living room with pull out couch. Furniture is out dated and even pull out couch was broken, risk of kids get hurt. Although there was a door between living room and bedroom but it was not completely private. Only one TV in Living room and remote is hard to operate and still coudn't figure out channel selection. Room Service: Very bad. For basic request like towel, you have to make multiple call. Sofa bedsheet was dirty and had to make multiple call at different places to get it resolved. Toiletaries were not required as bathroom had dispenser which is for everything, handwash, shampoo, conditioner .....ALL IN ONE. Food: Resort had representative who are making your stay miserable by keep calling and even bugging while you walking to sale meal plan or selling club membership. All is buffet and there is nothing special to say about. Just average or even below average food. Location: Resort location is not so bad however not all the room have good view of tea garden/valley. You have to struggle with reception to find good view room which I did. As I had to stay I request over and over for good view room. Overall, very few rooms have good view of surrounding. If you lucky to get good view room then there would be noise of vehicle as they are close to road. We had to check out early (before 7am) and reception made a mistake in food billing. When I requested to correct this billing error, reception guy told me that, "he can not make any changes and I have to make a call for correction". After such a miserable stay, I did not wanted to call them again for couple thousand rupees. There is no real amenities at this resort, No indoor or outdoor swimming pool or real kids activities. At activities center most of activities are with extra charges and not in good shapes though. I did not visit gym though. Resort staff is not so interested in guest service but more interested in their commission by making new member or selling meal plan. Representative making false promises which they never fulfilled. Basically, I would not stay at this, maybe any other, Club Mahindra resort in future. This was my second time and even first time (at Coorg) was not so excited either.
