Topmost resort in Munnar! Bit tough to reach, as last 1km is almost 45 degree incline narrow road with hairpin bends, in awful condition. But once you reach its worth it. Stunning view of valley, decent staff and service. Good food, nice clean rooms, they need to paint once!!

It was a wonderful property, our three nights stay was great. Deluxe Room was neat, tidy and comfortable. Food was good in the restaurant but they used to take much time to serve food. Location was perfect. Its really value for money. We would recommend this resort for other travellers.

THE ROOM NO.708 ALLOTTED TO US WAS VERY GOOD AND SPACIOUS BUT WE HAD TO TRAVERSE 54 STEPS TO REACH OUR ROOM FROM THE RESTAURANT.AT OUR AGE OF +60, IT WAS VERY EXHAUSTING. WE HAD, THEREFORE, TO REQUEST THE HOTEL FOR SHIFTING TO A ROOM CLOSE TO THE RESTAURANT & RECEPTION. ON 2ND DAY ONLY THAT COULD BE POSSIBLE, BUT THIS ROOM NO.103 WAS TOO SMALL TO ACCOMODATE THREE ADULTS. LIHTING IN THE ROOM WAS INSUFFICIENT, THERE WAS ONLY ONE TABLE LAMP ON ONE SIDE AND THAT ALSO WAS NOT SUITABLE FOR READING. LOOKING GLASS WAS ONLY OF HALF HEIGHT.THERE WAS NOT MUCH VARIETY OF FOOD FOR DINNER, WE WERE BEING ALMOST FORCED TO GO FOR BUFFET DINNER OR CHHOSE CERTAIN DISHES ONLY FROM BUFFET. HOWEVER ROOM SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD AND EFFICIENT. LOCATION OF THE HOTEL IS EXCELLENT BUT ONLY BSNL PHONE WORKS, THIS IS GOOD IF YOU REALLY WANT TO RELAX. HOTEL NEEDS TO IMPROVE ASTHETICS OF THE BALD ROCKS YOU FACE IMMEDIATELY ON REACHING THE HOTEL. STAFF WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL.

I entered this hotel on last day of my Kerela visit. Rooms : The rooms were filthy. Paint was coming out of almost every place. The walls were dirty with pen scribbles all over the place. The switches were broken. The Bathrooms were smelly. I asked the reception to change my room and after a lot of shouting they moved me to other room only a bit better to my disappointment Lifts : I was travelling with my old parents and to my surprise, there were no lifts and they had no option than to sit in their rooms cos they cannot do 2 floor climbing again and again. Room service : Amazingly you cannot order food in your rooms and it is mandatory to take Rs 400 buffey facility, if you want food and that too between 8 -10 pm. My parents are also diabetic and cannot walk two floors to buffey so again after lot of shouting they agreed to serve us in our rooms but I had to walk to buffey and select food to be delivered to our room. Star rating: During my heart burns with the managers and staff, I asked them about their star rating as they charged me a fortune. They told they do not have any star rating, however I was told they are 3star while booking. Location: Its good but when I decided to leave cos of their pathetic rooms and facilities, the drive told me we cannot cos its on such a steep slope that its not safe to drive down in night and I was stuck there for the night. Summary: You rather stay at Rs1000 hotel rooms than them. If you want to spoil your holiday and Money then only choose this hotel
