Forest Haven Resort

I had a terrible experience at Forest Haven Resort, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Despite being advertised as a 3-star hotel, the quality of the rooms and facilities was more like that of a local lodge. We booked a standard room for ’6500 for two days, but when we arrived, the room smelled awful’like something had died. It was on the ground floor with no balcony and had old, worn-out furniture, including a large, uncomfortable bed and a broken headrest. The room was so small we couldn’t sleep comfortably, so we requested a new one. They charged us an additional ’1000 for an ’upgraded’ room on the second floor, but this room was just as disappointing. It was small, with no cupboard, no sofa, a small TV that with only one channel, no kettle,no intercome and no AC. The only saving grace was a tiny balcony that could barely fit one person. The bathroom was in terrible condition’there were dead insects on the walls, and the toilet seat was filthy. The cleanliness was severely lacking throughout the room. On the positive side, the breakfast was okay, and the staff were friendly, but the resort lacked basic services like luggage assistance. We had to carry our bags up two floors ourselves. For almost ’8000, this was a complete waste of money. The resort/local hotel offers very poor value for the price, with minimal facilities and terrible upkeep. Even a hospital room has more amenities than this place. Avoid staying here if you can.

I like to visit ooty In there liked to go for a trucking and other activities. So like to stay in munnar the FOREST HAVEN RESORT which I like to stay. The resort was mainly in wild and the rooms are like a luxurious and mainly the view of forest ’’ also a Natural river ’’ (which was soo good) crossing through the side of the resort. And the resort was surrounded by the forest with a river which was flow highly. And when we came to resort the rooms are too good well caring of all room appliances, furnictures . There room dining was too good with well delicious and fabulous food maden by the chef, and the other employs are also too kind and respect full. Everything was dine by the resort manager Mr MOHANDAS sir Tanku for everything that you treat us like a family ’’’’ tanku.

Good service and good hospitality.all staffs are good .we get the good experience from there .receptionist Christina was really helpful. And food taste was amazing .but the hot water issue in bathroom

The only positive about the property is about the location only. Poor service, untidy rooms. There is much better scope for improvement. The staff seems to be cooperative, but severely understaffed, fails to meet the basic needs of guests.

The worst and bad service of Hotel... It took almost 2 hour to food to come and not a single waiter came to ask and given spoon water i took myself water and spoons.. After and after telling them to serve the food.. They brought after 2 hours quantity was not good the Manchow soup was tasting like knorr soup
