The resort is 500m off the main road in steep downhill. You can only reach there with the help of the 4x4 they provide. Nevertheless, they had good hospitality, and were available with their vehicle whenever we wanted to move. Room was neat & spacious. The surroundings were excellent. Clean toilets. Room service was really good, and this is where these people gain an edge. Finally, one disappointment. There was a bandh on our check-out day. They really rushed us to check-out in the early morning, and were not accommodating in extending some space even for extra charges till the evening. Overall, this resort is worth for the money you spend.
* It is located 8-9 KM away from the city centre on the Cochin Road. * 'Resort' is more of a misnomer for Glenmore Resort. Its actually a kind of homestay cum small hotel (3-4 rooms in total). * I would rate the room quality to be Below Average in general, definitely not worth the price you pay for this resort. * Location is both it's high point and low point. It's located at a great depth from the main road, so no valley or mountain view. You come out of your room and you have just some very tall trees in front of you. There is a small water source flowing further down near by which is the saving grace. Sometimes it gives you a feeling that you are staying right in the middle of jungle. * Washrooms were not very clean. * Limited options in restaurant menu, restaurant service is just average. Food was again just average, nothing great.

Standard resort for a pleasant family time. The view is exotic. Food is delicious and hygiene. Staffs are very cooperative and friendly. Overall hygiene is very good. Would recommend to all without any reservation.
The resort is 1km away from main road but I don't see any problem / issues as mentioned by other travellers this is because Glenmore has their own vehicle stationed near main road and they will drop you off to their resort at free of cost. The ground staff is very helpful and room service is excellent with no issues. The best person I could remember is GK ( Gopalkrishnan) who always available for any request made . Free wifi , hot water , room service and TV service is available . This is country side and it's not good to brag about wifi problem. I could see some travellers mention about wifi issues , for them I would like to say - stay at home to use wifi , why spend money and come so far to enjoy nature beauty ? It's recommended to Stay away from elusive world and experience the nature & beauty of Munnar , have good dinner , fire camping and spend time with your dear ones. Food is average and should be fine for a day or two . I would recommend management to also start providing fish dishes . The resort surrounding is calm and beautiful and you don't get better resort / service at the price Glenmore provide . Peace and calm location and friendly staff . Value for money resort . Good job .
Hotel needs improvement in housekeeping in resort area, plantation & Kitchen area (though food taste is good), However room (they provide double room) is good. They can do much better if they improve upkeep in common open area. Wifi is available but only near reception and mobile signals are also not available properly in Hotel. Approach road to Hotel is 500 meter narrow downhill on which only Hotel Jeep (Hotel provides free pick and drop upto main road) will ply. If someone is coming to Munnar by his own taxi then he will have to leave his taxi in Pallivasal only. My taximan whom I had booked for two days ran away after reaching Munnar (Pallivasal) after knowing the location of hotel though I saw other taxis parked also. However good point about Hotel is that It is away from main hustle bustle of Munnar city in Pallivasal on Kochi Road a number of other properties also nearby, but staying near Munnar city also has advantages (ease of visting to Madupetty, Rajamalai or Thekkady road area).
The staff was very nice and helpful. It is an off road resort... good for peaceful stay.. away from noisy cities... it have an spice plantation view... food was very nice esp kerala parathha.. and breakfast
Though the resort is located well below the main NH, the resort offers courtesy Jeep drop and pick up to the nearest auto stand, 24 hours. The best thing i liked about Glenmore is my stay, the excellent staff and the rooms. I would recommend to those who would like to have a peaceful stay, very good breakfast, and reasonable prices.
