The resort is built in a hazzle free location and it suits who likes to spend some privacy time by enjoying the nature. the people are good, helpful always has a pleasant smile in their face and never forget to wish everytime you see them. amenities are satisfied and as the room services. the highlight is their food, it is awesome, addition of traditional kerala dishes added the flavour in their menu. the only suggestion i would like to make is they should have their own transportation to pickup/drop their guests from/to munnar
This is no ways a three star resort as they claim it to be. its just barely a two star hotel with really bad service. First of all, they are def around 25-26kms away from munnar main town. The place is dead, and apart from a few basic games they have nothing more to offer. The receptionist is wierd. We reached the hotel at 4 in the afternoon. at 5 when we were leaving to go to the munnar marekt place, he told us it wd not be a good idea to leave. i dont know what they expected from us. The food they offer for dinner..a buffet priced at 350 +taxes, which he sd wd have more than 20 dishes, was very minimalist, and worse, they served stale chicken and fish. infact even the vegetarian dishes tasted stale. The breakfast spread was just about passable. but when i asked them to refill the fruit bowl they ignored my request blatantly. The worst thing was that last minuite, when we wr about to leave and were time pressed to reach the bus stand, they told us their card machine was not working for last few days. (this is something that is not expected at a hotel and if still happening, then shd be informed before hand) and the nearest ATM was no where near by! Their rooms are minimalist, they do not even have a fan in the room, and it does tend to get hot in the middle of the night. we did not even get a decent nights sleep. In all , this place is highly over rated, and over priced. i would not recommend this "hotel" to anybody!

Good points The hotel is in a beautiful location ,built on a hillside looking out over the valley Staff were friendly and helpful, i would particularly highlight the waiter in the restaurant who was always happy and obliging. The rooms were large and had a separate sitting room Not so good points Maintenance has been neglected. Plaster was falling off the walls, wallpaper was peeling and a lot of areas, including reception, needed painting. The sitting room furniture was old and stained. The hotel is a long way from MUNNAR down a very narrow road. It's not well signposted from the main roads and difficult to find. Various games are provided in the rooms such as chess, but pieces are missing.
Room with living room was grt. Meal was delicious. Mountain view from balcony was very nice. Staff was cooperative. Location was too far from city. We were stuck in dense fog on first day evening while going to the hotel.
All rooms are cottage suit type and they are very spacious with big living/drawing room. They have provided dedicated indoor games facilities like chess, carrom, table football in all the rooms. Bathrooms are also big with continuous supply of hot water through their centrally located solar water heaters. The mgmt is practicing energy saving through usage of renewable sources of energy like solar. Food is authentic and tastes good. Menu is exhaustive and wholesome. All types of Services were too efficient. I would specially complement property manager Mr Sijo Joseph who was throughly professional person possessing all the requisite qualities required in a hotel/hospitality industry.
The experience has been excellent throughout starting from the inquiry about tariff. The location is little off route but worth. The family rooms were of decent size with balcony and a separate bedroom. The food was awesome. You could easily skip the lunch with the lavish breakfast! Staff (Mr Sijo, Luxy and others) were very supportive & kind. Mr Sijo deserves a special mention for his helping nature. True gentleman. Others were very polite and helpful too. The only flip side I could find during my stay is, rooms were without any fan (but i guess it was removed as it was winter) though we didn't need it and voltage were fluctuating (probably due to remote location). But overall, fab experience and highly recommended. - Bhaumik
Nice place to be there with your family. I booked two suites for two nights & those were awesome. Staffs were very helpful & humble. They guide you properly to visit various places in & around Chinnakanal. Serenity of the place amazed me. Beautiful scenery outside the rooms overlooking green hills is the best thing. Needs improvement in food, specially when food lovers look for local authentic food. Hardly any authentic Kerala food was available. In breakfast also they had little options, although considering their star rating those were in plus side. Overall it was a beautiful stay.
