This place was a disappointment Our expectation was that this being a property owned/operated by Galaxy and that we would spend 2 nights here - this place would be good This was a wet blanket - literally so as it rained the evening we reached there Both the side rooms are below ground level and face a landscape full of thrash - one room did not have hot water facility The ground floor room Periyar, is like a dungeon - no windows, less moving space Yes, the first floor room was relatively better The kitchen flooring is absolutely slippery, one could slip and fall, breaking their bones If one were to walk out of the facility, there is a bright chance of getting knocked down by the busy traffic Positives - The caretaker Saju is very hospitable. The washrooms are done up well,but the showers don't work due to less water pressure

This room was booked by our travel agency as part of budget package during this rush hour year (christmas and year end) vacation time. On outside this hotel looks good and we were hoping that our experience will be good. But i would have been more happy if the service of issues was done on time rather than i having to do multiple followups or calls. The beauty of Munnar was good enough to forget this bad experience but i feel people who stay in this hotel in future should have low expectations. Staff should be treated on how to speak with customer as they cannot speak lies and give false expectations. They should be told that it is better to accept mistakes rather than making stories and trying to push the blame on others. Upset about - Bad service. Need multiple reminders - Bad food. Full of oil and not much variety - No clean room. Could find cockroaches - Problems with hot water in bathroom. In Munn - No Wifi. Only sales office has wifi which they do not share with customers. Problems with signal (Not sure if this is a problem in many hotels in Munna) Consoling positive - hotel is near main town - good view from terrace (hotel) - parking space for car and they gave food to driver

For a hotel that accepts nothing less than 100 % advance payment, it has nothing to justify its existence! We had booked in July 2015 for 2 nights stay during 19-20th October2015, in their 'Deluxe room' and the online booking page mentioned nothing about 'Deluxe room-with-veranda/without-veranda'. We were shocked to be allotted a ground floor small room "Periyaar" which had no ventilation. The only window was a small opening on the rear-end showing a garbage pileup of the hotel next door. The towels/sheets/pillows were utterly stained/dirty. There was no mobile connectivity during the entire stay so we could not call up MakeMyTrip. Upon enquiring about the lady who had been interacting with us on behalf of the hotel over phone till an hour before reaching that place, we were told that she would be some remotely located 'centralised reservation' employee! The resident 3-member staff did arrange to shift us to the third floor room, but the entire exercise was like doing us a favour, and still, we suffered bouts of no-toilet water/ no-geyser/no electricity in the middle of the night. Worst was the spiders/ cobwebs all over the bed corners/ walls/chairs/dining table on the roof/headrestseverywhere! The food was cooked fresh but nothing professional about the way it was served in dirty plates/cutlery. All in all, the entire place reeked of indifference/utter neglect, which is a pity, considering the awesome views the location has. This hotel is damaging to the goodwill of this website.

Hi, I stayed here for one night in july and i must say the room was very good. stayed in a room called ganga with a very comfortable bed and a very neat and big bathroom & open gallery .Hot water available only in the morning. the benefit to putting up here is its off the main road and on a height. Absolutely no requirement of fan or ac as its very cold even without it. can do better on complimentary breakfast. staff was very courteous. overall a good option to put up in a budget of 2.5k

Very unique location and good scenic views from balcony. Absolutely fantastic to stay at such hotels, surrounding with lush green hills and forest and cool, pleasant climate. Well constructed hotel at a hill station and also Well chosen landmark!
