on arrival they charged compulsorily Rs4000.for new year eve celebration at night they served stale food with little menu options, melted ice cream warm pepsi.I had heated exchange with the owner .Out of 8 families 7 left function by 11PM. In the room linen was dirty and used i got it changed. I feel there is mutual agreement of cheating by you and the hotel because ones we pay full amount no body care .I will never book through you. Booking .com is far better they don't charge in advance..Same was the story in Aswaria hotel Kochi, room A/C remote was not available,in breakfast even they refused to provide omelet. Reception persons were rude ,i scolded them badly.DR SURESH BHAMBHANI .MOB NO 09810838435
* Hotel location & layout is mind blowing. * It is perfect location to stay in Munar. * Food quality was excellent. * Only issue faced was of availability of hot water in bathrooms. Hotel is having gas water heaters & they were not working properly.
* Hotel is perfect place to stay in Munnr at with picturesque view of tea gardens. * Food quality was good & even children liked it. * Hot water service in bathrooms was very poor. Gas water heaters were not working at all. * Overall good value for money deal.
Whispering Meadows is nearly 10 kms away from Munnar town, but as it was near the main road, it was easy to access. Parking: It has an average parking lot, say nearly 6-7 cars. Location: Whispering Meadows is located near the main road, but 10 kms away from Munnar town. Also the Whispering Meadows is itself on a small hilltop, so old people can have trouble accessing the hotel. We can have a sight of the hills from our room, which I think was really good. Front-Desk: The front desk was really bad in my opinion as nobody would answer the phone. When I inquired with them, the info that i received was that the phone was dead for nearly a week as some work was going on nearby. Otherwise, in person, the front desk did do a good service. The Room: The room was really excellent and clean for middle class people, it was beyond our expectations, but some places it did lack though like some lights did not work, there was no ceiling for air to come in or go out. Also we were told that hot water was available for 24 hours, which we felt was wrong, though we did not ask for hot water as we felt good bathing in cold water. Food and Room Services: We had only one breakfast from Whispering Meadows as at other times we were out sightseeing. But to be frank, the breakfast was really delicious. Overall: Overall, with regards to my opinion, the hotel is really excellent for low-budget people. I would really recomment this hotel who are visiting Munnar.
We booked this hotel after seeing lot of reviews and i must say it was worth investing the money. Its positive point was excellent decor in the room and lovely view from the balcony. Though the hotel was 9 KM from the city but it was located in a serene surrounding. Food was average so would suggest to eat in town. Also I would like to mention that hotel was at some distance from the city so you must keep a vehicle with you as hotel does not provides any sort of transportation.

I visited whispering meadows resort along with my family and it has been excellent what it a wonderful experience is the staff.they are courteous and respective and make u feel at home...the rooms are comfortable and over all view ....the food is mouth watering...some of the best North indian food I have ever had..I highly recommend this place..
When we arrived late in our second night in India, we were greeted in a sweet incense-filled lobby with some complimentary grape juice and treated to the Indian hospitality straight away. The location of the hotel is absolutely stunning. Our room had a balcony which looked out east onto the tea hills of Munnar with some of the most beautiful views of the whole trip. The rooms were laid out in sepeeate cottage- style bungalows, and I think the layout contributed to the peacefulness of the place. The room was good, but the shower was pretty terrible - very weak, but the water mostly warm. The bed was very firm, but we soon learnt that this would be commonplace everywhere in India! Food-wise, the dinner was pretty basic compared to some of the other places we ate, which contributed to the four star rating- otherwise I would have given 5! I feel like this is the only area that could really do with improvement. You had the option of 400INR per person for an all you can eat buffet, or to choose from the menu. They did have some veggie options every day, but they were all served from the buffet trays so not always very hot or fresh. The breakfast selection was good though , with a good range of Indian (idli, sambar etc) and continental (cornflakes, bread and jam) available. Overall it was a Tranquil, peaceful, beautiful and picturesque experience and I would highly recommend.
Property at first sight is very nice.. Situated on hill. We stayed for 2 nights. Rooms are nice. All rooms are facing towards tea estate & with balcony which gives best view ... Foggy & very cold from 1700hrs onwards. But you can not go out after 1900hrs as the hotel is in remote area with no street lights. Town is 45 minutes away from hotel. Food is good but costly. No rooms for driver. Beautiful flowers around the hotel. Only the complaint is you can not enjoy complete peace. If anyone is speaking in lower floor, you will hear the voice clearly.
it was nice place to stay... very polite staff...food quality was not good..there was fixed menu for dinner...but overall location and room was nice... vew from this hotel was best...very nice constuction...room service was nice...need to improve bathroom condition.
I had stayed there with my family for 2 days. Very good budget hotel. The view from our room was awesome ...really enjoyed. The rooms are neat and tidy .Cleanliness is our first and foremost concern when we are staying with family, especially with kids and I am totally satisfied .The staff was very co operative and helpful. Food provided was homely and healthy too. we were totally refreshed and like to visit again" The whispering Meadows"
