If you love the wilderness away from all the made up pleasures, this is the place. If you love the wilderness away from all the made up pleasures, this is the place.

Loved every second of our 1 day stay. A beautiful and scintillating off road of streams, up hills, downhills and highlands, since we were on our bikes. We had no clue how deep we were supposed to go to find the cottage but I was thrilled to have been here. No network connection and no sounds apart from the mother nature's. We trekked 4-5 kms uphill from the cottage. To wrap it up a beautiful getaway to clear off your messed up self.

This is for you if you are: 1. Looking for an offbeat location to stay. 2. Ready to drive off-road ( And the road is pretty challenging ) 3. More of a traveller like backpacker sort of If you are with Family and/or looking for a proper HOTEL , this definitely is not the place. Staffs are really friendly, facilities are limited and absolute fun if taken in the right mood

Interesting Place and indeed offbeat Interesting Place and indeed offbeat

On a long weekend went to this place with friends and we drove from Delhi. At the onset let me be honest that this hotel is indeed offbeat and what it has to offer to it's guests is something really worthwhile. The place is situated inside the Brentwood Sanctuary and hence communication to the main town is going to be remote. The approach road from the Kempty Falls Road is not that good and involves crossing three small streams which eventually joins to form Kempty Falls. It is advised to drive a 4X4 vehicle to the cottage. Otherwise it is better to park the same at the entrance of Brentwoods Sanctuary. It is like staying beside a stream of flowing water which together with many such streams would form the mighty Kempty Falls. We reached there pretty late owing to the heavy traffic congestion enroute. The food that is available there is very basic and cooked fresh in the kitchen. So you need to order beforehand your meal. The menu is also limited to basic Indian preparations but the quality is great. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. It would be advised to travelers to carry their bath towels. The place has a small courtyard and we had bonfire one evening with Bar-B-Que. There are nice walking and small hiking trails from this place for an entire day. We went on one such trail. There are amazing number of beautiful insects, moths, butterflies, flowers, orchids, ferns etc. Those who enjoy nature photography, this place is a paradise of subjects, especially macro photography. The staffs at the cottage are very friendly local people with elementary knowledge of English. They do take good care of the guests. In the end I would just emphasize on a fact that this property is excellent for people who are looking for peace in the lap of nature. Definitely it is not meant for people who drives all the way from Delhi to have a couple of drinks in the room and wake up late and then look forward for some ready activities. For them it is surely going to be a big disappointment. Staying in this cottage has a feel of staying in a permanent forest camp.
