HORRIBLE FOOD & ATTITUDE
by Acrulezzz on
Went here for lunch on 09th April 2021 and trust me it is Not Worth it @ All !!!!! Ordered the Peri Peri Pizza The Chicken Burger and Fish n Chips.
The Peri Peri chicken pizza was Horrible no sign of Peri Peri in the pizza
The burger patty was chewy like anything
The Fish was full of OIL
The hotel didn't have alot of stuff mentioned on the menu like Beer or Absolut Vodka or Chicken Wings to name a few.
The staff Attitude was horrendous and the Food was below average
Not worth visiting.....

My wife and I visited Mussoorie after almost 3 decades and boy was I in for a surprise...a pleasant one I might add. The place took me completely by surprise with beautiful winding roads leading us to our destination THE CLARIDGES NABHA RESIDENCE-HERITAGE.
Nestled beautifully in the lap of nature this amazing and serene property boasts nothing short of a Kings getaway which actually it was and now taken over by the Claridges Group on a long term lease. The uphill entrance drive from Barlowgunj makes you think twice about where you are going and how the property is going to be, however once you reach the main porch area you realize that even the pictures on various travel portals and websites dont do this property justice.
When we arrived there, we were so warmly greeted by the hotel staff and the General Manager of the Property Mr. Baldev Singh Negi who took extra pains to show us around the huge landscaped property and to our surprise upgraded us to the Club Room .
After settling in, we visited their garden area where amidst the beautiful whistling of wind and soothing environment we ordered our lunch. Just to be clear that I was coming to this beautiful city after almost 37 years and finding myself amidst this perfect nature cocktail made me reminisce my childhood almost on the verge of nostalgia if not more.
The Mall road, Landour Bakehouse (excellent desserts, Coffee and Pastries), Chaar Dukaan, Cafe Ivy, Tavern restaurant, Savoy Hotel, Kasmanda Palace, Camel back road, Tibetan market, The Rokeby Manor, Little Lama Cafe (amazing coffee and apple pie).the list is endless, were some of the places we visited and tried to do justice to their ever inviting treats.
For dinner we stuck to our ever alluring property #The Claridges, Mussoorie, amidst bornfire, and yes it did not disappoint us at all. A special THANK YOU and LOVE to the chef #Mr. Sunil, Mr. Khatri for making us the most amazing Amritsari Fish, Mutton Adraki, Rogan Josh, Fish Fingers, Dal Tadka and Dal Makhni. However their dishes found the way to our table only through the loving and caring hands of their colleagues Mr. Anand, Mr. Vinay, Mr.Satpal, Mr. Ashish etc. and supervising all of the above were the Restaurant Managers Mr. Dhanpal, Mr. Virender and Front desk Manager Mr. Shubham Dwivedi.
Our stay would not have been so memorable had it not been for the collective efforts of these gentlemen and their boss the GM Mr. Baldev Singh Negi. Looking forward to visiting again and cherishing all of the above and much more very soon.
Superb rooms, outstanding service, appropriate for a royal residence

We were upgraded to a secluded and huge Premium Room due to a wedding party. Very well furnished rooms, everything was spotlessly clean including room and linen, things worked, very good room lighting, piping hot water, excellent heating. Awesome, personal courteous service from all - housekeeping, dining, and amazing attention from Shruti at the front desk. Great food, every day for the 4 nights we were there. It was very comfortable to have the rooms at the same level as the main building and dining which is not common in Mussoorie. A free shuttle service to and from the Mall which is quite a distance away. Please note the property is situated up a long steep incline from the road which makes vehicles necessary.
Excellent Heritage Resort, truly dedicated team with warmth

This was our pre COVID escape, Mussoorie though is not new to us but we were wary of crowd. Friends recommended Nabha Residency and and we have been thanking them for the recommendation. One needs to have own transport and the if the target is 'Unwinding' and not 'Sight Seeing', this is the place. One need to plan in advance as the number of rooms are less. Rooms are very tastefully maintained without compromising the Heritage' feel. Lobby, outdoor sitting, garden walkways are the highlights. Staff is vey polite, extremely welgroomed and good hearted as 'paharis' are. There is a sense of pride on being part of 'Nabha'. Good, especially breakfast spread is par excellence.
