Valley View Hotel

So, I stated there with my family for 2n3d starting 30th June. I must urge you not to spend even 500 bucks for the rooms in this hotel, why? Here's the reason:- the bathrooms were leaking from above. There is no housekeeping, as mentioned earlier, we stayed for 3 days 3ed day being the check out day, so the rest 2 days there was no cleaning no fixing of bathroom ceiling that was leaking even after reminding the management twice each day. When we came back from sightseeing at night we saw the same uncleaned room and bathroom. Guess what, we all 3 of us developed skin allergy right after using the bathtowels. But I must say the best part was the staff who served us. They were very courteous

Do not expect too much from this hotel. I got it at a deal price of just Rs.1000 online and seeing the address as The Mall road, I was quite impressed. But to my surprise it is not in the heart of the place. You will have to commute atleast 2 km for getting access to bus or auto. The rooms are good but there are frequent issues with electricity causing the pain. The staff are also not very responsive to complaints. The restaurant quality needs a serious change for better.

It totally ruined our family trip. They just increased there rack rates just in 30 minutes when we wanted to check few other places, no business ethics. Apart from that no water no room service and no hospitality also. We were denied room service which we requested only for senior citizens but the room next to us were later served food. Warm drinking water took 2 hrs to come and no hot water for shower. The attitude of staff is pathetic including the lady manager. Seriously needs a training for managing the place. Only thing which kept us calm that we were not the only ones dissatisfied, everyone suffered staying at this hotel worse than dharamshala

Except for the location there is nothing worth writing about this hotel.the service is pathetic,the food is below average,the cleanliness is very bad and basic amenities are lacking and as far as the tariff is concerned they can demand the sky. it is and all together avoidable place considering the high tariffs.

If I will consider everything then this is an average hotel. Please find the advantages below: 1. Rooms are good along with bathroom and furniture. 2. Cheap - In May the cost was Rs 1300 only for 3 persons. 3. Tea was good 4. Room Service was good 5. View was very good from the balcony. Please find the disadvantages below: 1. They say that this located at Main Middle mall road which is true but not good for travelers. As, they need to travel around 2 Km on either side to fetch a bus or taxi. walking 2 Km on hill areas is like walking 5 Km on plain road. 2. This Hotel is up in the valley, so you have to walk up in slope or need to take many stairs. A general Note - If you ask from the local about a place and if they will say that "bas 5 min k doori pe hai" then keep in mind that you will take at least 20 min to travel that distance.
