Hotel Bombay Tiffanys Location: The hotel is a short distance from the Mysore Railway Station. I was to reach the hotel at 2200 hrs in the night, but found it very convenient. The rickshaw charged me Rs. 50/-. The hotel is located in a side street with hardly any parking place. But all other facilities (markets, restaurants, shops, etc.) are available at walking distance. The Mysore Suburban Bus Stand is also at a short drive from the hotel (rickshaw charge Rs. 30/-). The front desk: A more friendly approach from the receptionist will be appreciated. The Room: It was neat & clean. The room service was good. Food was also good. Overall: I was to stay in the hotel for 2 nights. At Rs. 1617/- (Total) it was a very good bargain. There was a pick-up from the hotel for a Mysore day long sight-seeing tour (about Rs. 390/- per person by Mazda Mini Bus).

Hotel is located in a very crowded place. As we entered our room the cleanliness was missing out and the interior was not up to the mark. There is no proper parking place in this hotel.

Mysuru Palace Mysuru Palace

by mitalrp77 on January 6, 2017

It was situated in heart of city and was neat and clean. The rooms were properly cleaned and the lobby and gallery were also in good form. The main market was at stones throw distance. The different types of items were available.

Unclean, Uncaring Unclean, Uncaring

by $review.name on January 6, 2017

We stayed here one night on our Intrepid tour. It was without doubt the worst place we stayed. It wasn't just the fact it was rundown, but it was Dirty/ Unclean. Half our group left for another hotel because of the state of the rooms and a mouse was seen in one of the rooms and reception. None of the staff really seemed to give a damn and customer service appeared to be left at the door on staffs arrival each day. Advise looking elsewhere.

Clean, Hygienic and Well Maintained Budget Hotel at Heart of City Clean, Hygienic and Well Maintained Budget Hotel at Heart of City

by Baudhayan on November 4, 2016

If you are tight on budget, but want to stay in a clean, hygienic and well maintained hotel in the heart of the city, then this is the place to stay. It's the locality which is a bit below standards owing to the Bars around. But it is just about 100 meters from main road - Sayyaji rao road. Many tourist attractions like Mysore Palace, Jagmohan Art Gallery and also the City Bus Stand are within walking distance. For souvenir shopping the "Cauvery Emporium" is at stone throw's distance. If you are looking out for a milk, coffee booth, you also have a 24/7 Nandini booth very close, from where you can also bye the famous Mysore Pak. I will say that this is a 3 star Hotel. I had booked 2 rooms and stayed with my family in Super Deluxe Non-AC rooms for 6 nights. I will always suggest to book anything which is Super Deluxe or above, so that you can stay in 1st floor and above. The Hotel is well maintained, with Marble flooring in passages and common areas. The washroom has 24 hours supply of warm water. The staff are friendly and helpful. I stayed during the Dussera festival during 1st-2nd week of Oct'16 and found almost all rooms fully booked. There were many Westerners staying here, so I guess that tells the story. The only issue I found was a very small Elevator (too old) to carry your luggage. But the people from Room Service can help you to avoid this problem. Overall I had a pleasant experience considering this is a Budget Hotel.

Never staying here again! Never staying here again!

You pay less, you get less. But I did not expect this to be so deplorable. The hotel, although located in the very core of the city, is in a dirty, shady lane, that automatically upsets you as soon as you get in. The reception, and the place overall is dark. The room is small and congested. The bathroom in our room had no WC. And its really, really old. I chose it because it's closer to the railway station, and I had a morning train. Although, my learning is that any hotel is close to the station simply because Mysore is such a small city. My recommendation: Avoid it. It's not worth the experience to save some bucks.
