The room was clean & tidy. It was large sized. I liked the flooring of the room. Toilets were clean. Bathrooms were large. Service was good. Staff were friendly. The food was well prepared and I enjoyed the Utapam with chutney/sambhar & upma....awesome!
Hotel Paradise makes you feel very comfortable.
The hotel is very old and needs complete renovation. The room was spacious but all the accessories were very very old.
The food was nice of the hotel. Room & service was good. Only thing is that hotel building is pretty old.

This is the old Dasaprakash Hotel that opened in the mid eighties. It used to be a nice hotel then. However, seems to have run down considerably over the years. The good was average but was also reasonably priced. One can say that it was value for money
Stayed for 4 days at the hotel. The plus points are, parking space, and clean rooms. The AC in the room was making noise like a floor mill. Got the room changed and it was much better. Restaurant provides breakfast with limited options. For example you can either have juice or Tea or Coffee. Restaurant service is pathetic.
We arrived jaipur around 8 at night, exteriorly this hotel looked very nice. I have bad experience with the reception not even greed us properly and not smiling, he seemed he is having very bad mood. I stayed 1 night with a group of friend. So we reserved 3 rooms with one extra bed. When we asked for the room service for the extra bed, they keep arguing saying that we didnt pay for it. In the end, we asked them to check back the receipt, and yes we got the extra bed around 10pm after arguing so much. The breakfast was fine, there quite a lot of western choices so we love it. They have prepare a basket of food and in refrigerator they keep beverage. But you have to pay for it, including the mineral water. Yes you have to for the mineral water. -_-
The hotel s very old and everything in the hotel are old. No proper maintenance. Shower doesn't work. Old CRT TV. Mirrors are full of patches. Walls are full of water marks. Beds not good. Food also not so tasty. Need to call reception many rimes if u need anything. And they charge equivalent to a 4 star hotel for the rooms. Definitely not suggest to opt this.
Walking into the Hotel Dasaprakash Paradise, I felt as though I was walking into a time warp. Looking around the portico, the lobby and the reception area, it seemed as though time had just stayed still at the Hotel Dasaprakash Paradise! I remember walking in there over thirty years ago, when it first opened, when Yadavgiri in Mysore was then a very quiet, green and a very sparsely constructed and populated extension. Nothing of note had changed in all these years gone by. The last time I visited here, I had said to myself, probably never again, because it was just plain sad to see how a lovely hotel which in my eyes always epitomised the old Mysore charm of the grand old days, a place that always brought back some fond childhood memories for me, appeared to be a getting more and more neglected as the years went by, but I chose to go back with a hope that I would see a different and an improved hotel! Alas how disappointed I was. Looking around at the ancient flooring in the lobby, the corridors, rooms and toilets, where the marble slabs, the outdated mosaic tiles and the miniature ceramic tiles of the yester years adorning the walls and floors, I wondered what it would take for the hotel management to understand that the hotel was long overdue for a huge renovation. The old 18 inch tube type TVs and noisy split level air conditioners, are still in place even in today's day and age!! Having my breakfast in the hotel restaurant, I couldnt but help notice the ancient planters, which have been there in place right from the very beginning, holding withering plants and the decorative plywood panelled ceiling which I remember seeing all those years ago. Some even had big cobwebs in them. The restaurant that still serves the very best of vegetarian fare was manned and served by waiters who were so poorly turned out in stained dirty jackets /trousers and un polished shoes that I wondered if the hotel has anyone in charge of personnel management? The service which is still very courteous is probably a saving grace. In an era where the hospitality and service sector in India has moved on in leaps and bounds and where the motto is generally, shape up or ship out, I am astounded that the hotel can get away with this lackadaisical outlook. I can only describe what I saw and experienced with two words and that is management apathy. However, looking forward I can only hope that the management will seriously get down to restoring the hotel, which has such a beautiful location, to its long lost glory. Otherwise I for one would not want to go back or will I? Will the romantic in me which yearns for a taste of the old Mysore charm, pull me back there? I really dont know, but I can only hope that, if I do, I will be pleasantly surprised!!
