Access It is located opposite the Balarama Gate of the Mysore Palace. It is just half a kilometre away from bus station and about 2 km from railway station. Location It is very close to the Mysore Palace and just 2km away from the Mysore Zoological Park. The other attractions around include St.Philomina's Church and many shopping centers. The Front Desk They were very helpful. We had booked an Executive Premiere (Double+ A/C) Room and check in time they mentioned was 12pm. But they allowed us to check in by 11:15am itself without any wait. They also gave a good advice for sightseeing. They also allowed us to stay for an extended period (around 3 hrs) in the room so that it will be convenient for us to check out as I had to attend a conference. It was also the Dussehra time. Room Room was good and neat. The linen was clean, taps, flush, were running and A/c working. The only drawback is there was just 1 plug point in the room to which the TV and set-box is connected and another one in the bathroom. Room Service & Food Service The room service was good and fast. The food also is equally nice with a variety of north indian and south indian dishes to order from. The complimentary breakfast was also nice. Overall On the whole, the hotel is a good option for a budget traveller. I recommend this hotel for my family if we are to visit the place again.

Hotel stay was good and comfortable, staff were very cooperative and professional. But the travel arranged to ooty by the hotel people was very uncomfort and not as per the hotel standard. We have been arranged the swaraj mazda vehicle to commute to ooty ,which was very uncomfortable and conjusted. Driver and Guide allowed local people to drop in the same vehicle carrying large bag of vegitables, fruits etc.Standing and sitting on floors.Unnecessarily the hault at Gundulpet for 1hr for breakfast. For ooty lake they gave 20mins to visit and for botanical garden they haulted for 30 mins. Please warn or change the travel links

Excellent place to stay for family Excellent place to stay for family

by yeshodaharish on November 2, 2016

We always go to this lodge when in Mysore. Best place I would suggest for family stay. Best place to stay as staff is very friendly. Silent place and away from hush and bush of city life. They provide complimentary breakfast which is decent. both continental and south indian breakfast is available.

Deceiving Staff, Do Not stay here Deceiving Staff, Do Not stay here

We stopped in to look at rooms as traveling in India with 3 kids can mean lots of extra charges for beds etc. They showed us two double rooms (308 and 409) both looked pretty good and would fit our family. We said we would return the next day. They wanted a deposit of Rs. 1000. We gave the deposit. Then with the Cauvery water dispute in Karnakata we decided to leave early. I let them know at 8 am the day we were supposed to check in, but they would not return the deposit. Roopa, the person in charge who we talked to the day before was not helpful. We were not told the deposit was none refundable, but we were not told this at the time. The place looks empty. Disappointing, but now that I look at the trip advisor reviews, this type of poor service is not surprising.

Decent hotel in the heart of the city Decent hotel in the heart of the city

by ameya_tendulkar on September 21, 2016

I had stayed at this hotel on 17th Sept 16. We were a family of 6people and had taken two premium rooms. They had first shown us the normal room which was small and avg and didnt smell fresh (not bad though). But then they upgraded to the premium rooms at the same price which was very kind of them. These rooms are very big and nice. One thing to watch out is what I found in one of the room is that the ac was the old style centralized ac and it didnt have temp control and the ac was not strong as I always need. Though the other room had seperate split ac and was good. The hotel is in heart of the city. It offers complimentary breakfast which includes south india food items like dosa, idli, potato bonda, fruits and bread butter. Hotel also has a veg/non veg bar restaurant. Overall its a decent hotel.

Had Read too many Gud Reviews for des hotel, hence decided on d spot Check in. but Total waste, neither basic amenities nor ny std quality. From Room cleanliness to bathroom cleanliness, it was total shabby. neither TV was working, nor Ac in fact, for years dey wudnt had repaired it. bathroom, so cheap, feel like u r in dormitory, no gud food too. & d hotel staff n manager, all waste, no quality standards, more of lodging type and d worst is, any cheap hotel wud hv either one or two charging sockets, des hotel dun gve single point along your bed side, uhv to remove TV plug, so u cant watch TV...n further hv to go in toilet to charge everything. what a shameless hotel, can't afford basic amenities. n requested to change room, it took them 12 hours to do, v just got pissed, n left hotel on d start of second day check in. Total greedy hotel, who is bothered for money only, n no service. a big NO for this hotel
