Balrampur house a old heritage property very ill maintained and management not bothered for the clients needs i called them up from Kausani in the morning to ensure them of our arrival and request for ground floor as my parents are old but were provided 1st floor back rooms, room service housekeeping restaurant all phones go to the reception they took 1 hour and atleast 8 calls to fill up the water jug to the room and to get extra pillows on coming back from sightseing the next day we found monkeys had visited our room and had good time on fruits available rooms were changed with lot of resistance from the reception that the staff was about to leave and when eventually changed to a room 104-105 ,#104 bathroom had water seepage which the room boy confirmed would remain as the geyser on top is leaking as it is the geyser was not working and to top it all the bathtub's right corner tile got off with the flow of water and dirty smelling water with wood remains flowed allover and to say the least the flush never worked we had to pickup the lid and pull the cistern manually, food here was the most pathetic we got in our total tour rather we had to shout at the chef literally in the dining hall for the quality and variety of food Balrampur was the worst stay we had because of management problems otherwise i feel if maintained it is one of the most beautifully located and exteriorly made property of the area. I would not recommend Balrampur house.

The rooms as well as the food was ok, but the services on the hotel part can be improved, still theres scope for improvement.
