Special Deluxe Suite
Super Deluxe Suite
Hotel is well located, had good parking and convenient for both lake and mall road. The outside and entrance do give a royal look. But good things just end here. Room was spacious, with attached toilet, a small dress and a TV room. However, the furniture looks ages old, never painted or polished. It was dark and dingy even in daylight with no ventilation (door being the only connect to sunlight and air). Beds and linen appeared old, untidy and unsightly. It is difficult to imagine why it was called deluxe suite. Toilet seat was low, broken and dirty. Toilet cum bath was stinking like hell. Water pressure was always low and filling bucket took ages. No maintenance services at night. We had to use a wet and unclean bathroom overnight since no sweeper/attendant is available at night. Soap, water and towels were supplied only after demand. One or two room attendants appeared helpful and courteous.
surprised to see the rooms conditions, they were not upto our satisfaction and the 3 star rating.rooms not properly clean and the towels were not properly clean.

The Royal was one of the most comfortable stays, the best part being that it is very near to nainital. You dont need to climb up to reach the hotel. The rooms are nice and well-ventilated, with an additional small kitchen. The staff is friendly. Only missed the regular wi-fi ,
I along with my family visited Nanital in July 2016 and stayed in this hotel. The room was Suite which costed us around 7000/- per night but our experience with the Hotel was really pathetic. Room service was terrible and the management too was on the same lines. The overall experience was poor.
Located at a walking distance from the lake side . The hotel is an old building but well renovated. Our hotel rooms were large. I was expecting smaller rooms typical of many hill station hotels. Luxurious; nicer than expected! Big bathrooms. The hotel staff was friendly and eager to please. The included breakfast was good; we were seated with a nice view of the mountains. The garden area was also well maintained. In our brief stay, we saw the following... sadiyatal waterfall, lover's point, khurpatal, snowview point, tifin top, near by lakes, the mall road,e.t.c.if you visit, you'll discover these sites on your own and if you are like me you want to write them down -- to remember your trip. We ate the nearby restaurants; Our hotel is formally on bara bazaar. This is a big shopping area with lots of touristy and high end stores. This is a great place for food and shopping, as we tourists are known to do! The overall decor and feel of the hotel was great and it served as an excellent base to explore nainital !!!!
Excellent hotel of this class.old property and kept extremely clean. Hotel was booked solid, but we got our reservation in just in time. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. From the kind, courteous staff, to the meticulous, comfortable rooms and common areas, my stay was absolutely perfect.Room was nice, spacious and clean . Car park was available at the hotel . Good breakfast and we also had the dinner in the night which was very good. Perfect service. Hotel is located at the walking distance from the main city square. All n all a perfect trip !!!
The hotel is being called heritage. That gives an excuse to the establishment, not to have any modern amenities. Food is not good. There is no Wi-Fi. Terribly cold even with rented heater. All the days we stayed in this hotel, we visited Manu Maharani for lunch and dinner.
