On my single day stay at Shirdi, I chose Hotel Abhishek because of it's proximity to the Temple complex. The hotel staff (Naikwade) was proactive to get in touch with me to know when I will check-in. I had assumed that they had called to make my room ready before I arrive. On reaching the hotel room,although everything seemed fine initially but later when i was about to lie down, i found to my horror that the bed linen was extremely dirty. Since I was in a hurry to reach the temple complex for getting in Que for morning aarti, hence I did not take up this matter with the room service. The room service response too was a bit delayed. I had to to call twice in a span of 20 minutes for providing towel and water in the room. The Hotel has a restaurant attached which is pretty good in terms of quality and price. The check-out was effort less once I showed the Travel-guru receipt. All in all, a budget hotel for staying for a night but needs to improve in terms of room cleanliness and promptness.

Demo Trip Pushkaraj is recommended as its relatively new and the building has a lift. The rooms are bigger and there's plenty of natural light. We chose the non-ac rooms which were good enough to combat the hot Ahmednagar weather.
