We were looking at a Hotel for transit i.e day use only. The Panchvati Yatri was convenient for us to visit the old touristy sites. The Hotel itself has a bar and a popular veg thali restaurant. There are other eating options available nearby too. The rooms are dated and the room we were allotted had water leakage marks in one corner. However, the room and bathroom was clean otherwise and bedsheets/ towels provided were clean. The staff is decent too.
Overall, it provides value for the money charged and can be recommended for transit stay or for low budget travellers.
Note for non-Indians. Indians love to try and be clever and confusing and as such don't use the term "restaurant" and instead go to all the big hotels to eat. Very confusing...
That said this has been simply the best place we have eaten in Nashik~ this unlimited veg thali, mostly of Gujarati style food is absolute value for money @ around 2.10 p/p! 175Rps. But I'm not just looking at the money side, it is truly good tasty food and I don't/can't even have a full Indian meal at lunchtime! We've been here 6 times already. Have to pay 20Rps more for sweets and same for extra glass of chaash (butter milk) but no biggie.
Skip breakfast and loosen your belt for this unlimited of about 12 items.
I visited Nashik in this Diwali vacation with my wife, two children and we stayed here for 4 nights in family room and 3 days to cover :Sita gufa, Ramkund, Dutondya Maruti, Kalaram Mandir, Tapovan, Muktidham, Bhimashankar, Saptsrunghi temple, Ganga Godavari Dwar and three Jyotirlings: Tryambakeshwar, Bhimashankar Grishneshwar and also Ellora cave- Kailash Temple, Bhadra Maruti temple. Room is spacious. Gujarati thali is tastiest. For breakfast just take morning walk and two right turn will lead you to Annpurna restaurant; the best breakfast place with variety of Mishal pav, Idly, meduvada, Upma, Dhaosa etc and it is ready from 6:45 AM; Every morning we take five different items in breakfast and bill was under Rs. 200/-. Avoid breakfast in hotel to avoid worst experience like- coupon system, limited breakfast. Wifi is good, They have Gym also. In front desk Omkar and Mahendra are co operative. Overall best place to stay in Nashik.
Location of this hotel is perfect , all major panchvati temples are at walking distance , i came with my wife and one evening we covered all major temples in panchvati area just by walking , hotel rooms are good & clean , value for money , wifi is very bad no range in rooms , i read about awesome thali served so i tried , food is actually very tasty ( its gujarati thali ) but a bit costly , let me tell you they charge extra for dessert , its not included in thali price . and late night also you can order food , they have separate menu for that , so overall i can say a nice place to stay for family , however if you would like to cut down on your meals try eating outside , there are many restaurants serving tasty north indian & gujarati thali at much cheaper rate .
The food was amazing. It was authentic north Indian cuisine. The best part of it was aam ras and unlimited. Ensure that you skip breakfast if you are planning to go for a lunch. The same items are copied by Khandani Rajdhani Hyderabad but the taste is not authentic as Panchavati. put this in must visit list.
