Worst place to be Worst place to be

I got it since my other booking was cancelled. This hotel is not worth being called a hotel. No amenities, no staff, no restaurant, not even a glass in the room forget other stuff. Its suffocating, smelly, unclean, ppl roaming as staff in the hotel without uniform, shabby... Etc. The list is long. Think they shud shut down.

Booked the hotel and feel cheated. Photos are misleading. Looks good in the pics, but it is nothing more than a lodge. Room are poorly maintained, less staff, no proper phone network. Breakfast only has bread butter omlet and tea coffee. Not recommended to anyone.

Initially from outside this property looks good. But after staying for night I feel it's not more than lodge, with no restaurants. Wi-Fi is very slow. Very limited staff so don't except immediate service. In breakfast you will get two slices of bread butter or omelet. Don't except any other menu. Cleanliness OK. So overall you will experience you are in lodge not in hotel.

I was staying in the hotel with my wife and one morning one the hotel staff just opened the door without knocking or ringing the bell and walked in! I had forgotten to lock the door after taking the breakfast tray, and the result was that the staff felt he could just waltz into my room without permission. What if one of us had been in a compromising situation or not fully clothed? We stay in a hotel for privacy but The Square does not feel the need to value such a thing. I was in a rage and when I confronted them they simply told me that 'sorry sir, there was some confusion'. How can you say such a thing? Have you no shame? Or do you not understand the gravity of what could have happened, which thankfully didn't? I am never going to stay in this hotel again and I would advise anyone else not to either. If you are still inclined to, though, I would suggest double locking the door. Oh, and there is no restaurant. You have to order food from outside after giving them advance cash, and they even have the audacity to keep extra money with themselves, naming it service charge. Breakfast includes only two options, completely cold (and burnt) omlette, or bread-butter.

Everything about this hotel is substandard. MakeMyTrip give it a rating of 3 star but it's not even worth 1 star. Rooms are awkwardly and poorly designed, the restaurant and kitchen is not operational, you get served tea and toast for breakfast in plastic crockery, the overall service is poor, and the manager seems to be bitterly bored so he comes to the hotel to pass his time. There seems to be total disinterest in maintaining a good service and the property. Rooms are not properly cleaned, furniture includes plastic table and chair within room. No toiletries and soap provided. Guests have to make a special request for soap and towels to take a shower. Rates are far too high for the level of service.
