The Kitchen Staff at Koolwal keeps changing very frequently. The new staff recruited does not have enough training. While every thing else is so great about this place, the lack of skills with Kitchen Staff acts asa spoilsports.

This House is a little treasure within the mystical atmosphere of Nawalgarth. I felt literally enchanted by a kind of fairy tail feeling, flashed back into a cultivated past when I saw this Kothi. Everything is charmingly old fashioned but well kept. This charm is even topped by the heartily manager, Mr. Ramakant Sharma, who made us feel really welcome and supported us in every way. On a tour through Rajasthan it is worth to stay longer than one night in this beautiful, peaceful little hideaway. By the way: the food was excellent as well....

Hotel is full of character. The room was large and comfortable. Typical Indian style, but included a bath. The dining room staff were full of smiles and happy to please. We were given a private tour of the opposite haveli by the hotel staff. Would stay again.

This is a heritage property that is quite imposing, but leaning towards disrepair. The lounge furniture needs overhauling.The bedrooms are large with period fixtures. The bathrooms could do with improving the bathing area so that water does not spill over. Some more attention could be paid to in-room tea service which is shabbily placed with no stirrers/teaspoons. The dining area is fairly well appointed, but the food not really up to the mark. The breakfast was average and the other meals, ordered or part of the tariff could be improved upon. The garden area is nice and green. However, the toilets by the pool were rather a mess. Those managing and serving were putting in their best effort....but the property being showcased as traditional, turned out to be quite run-of-the mill.One got the impression that the hotel leans towards catering for the overnight tourist who really would not get to come to know the shoddiness.....

We had recently stayed in Koolwal Koti in the last week of Dec'16. We had difficulty finding the place but were not disappointed by the stay there. The day we reached we were the only guests and we felt a little scarred, but the manger was very helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The property is well maintained and the rooms are also very good giving you a complete heritage look.
