A safe haven ( from the traffic !)
by chriscS3310XY on
Stayed here for 14 nights, and was well cared-for, throughout !
Was in cheaper room, but when I expressed concern that there was no interior safe, I was assured one would be provided, at no extra charge. And the promise was honoured !
Hotel public areas are spacious and clean. Daily newspapers are provided, free, in the foyer.
Hotel is popular with Indian businesspersons, families, and older overseas travellers - generally speaking.
All reception staff speak good English.
The hot buffet breakfast is included within the room charges.
The hot selection varies considerably, day by day, but you can ALWAYS ask for fresh toast, and an omelette ! Bananas, watermelon, and papaya are always available, too.
The restaurant is also available for meals - or room service - from noon until late (around 11pm, I think ?).
The menu is mainly Indian cuisine, and it is of good quality, very reasonably priced, and with VERY generous portions. ( One dish, with rice, will feed two normal customers !)
All staff are always courteous, and keen to assist. And the rooms are diligently serviced, daily.
The only reason to give less than a perfect score is the outside environment. The hotel faces a concrete flyover for a national highway, and a very busy exit road from it is immediately outside the hotel front. The exit road traffic is often near-stationary, with much honking of horns, often by motorcycles and auto-rikshaws attempting to (illegally) proceed against the traffic direction !
All in all, an often chaotic scene, and pedestrians need to show great care at all times !
I don't think there are many rooms at the front, but ask for a quieter one, anyway !
Oh yes, there ARE English language news channels on the TV, but none are from primarily English-speaking countries, apart from a solitary Australia station ! And one Sony sports channel shows live Champions League, Europa League, and FA Cup replays - but due to time zone differences, these tend to start after 1.30 am, so good luck in staying awake until the end of those ! ( The channel shows a LOT of cricket, though !)
Hotel room wi-fi is good.
Thank you for a pleasant stay !
Fine for a night

Very old, dark rooms and bathroom. Everything was clean but the rooms need redecorating. Smelt of mothballs. Bed was very creaky and uncomfortable.
Good points:
Loads of hot water and good shower pressure
Tea making facilities
Close to airport
Fantastic food store and service

We first stayed here when lost in the middle of the night and paid premium price. We now book on line when coming from the airport for reasonably priced, clean, quiet stop. The breakfst is very good. I've noticed a gym and conference room.
Worst Stay ever

I stayed yesterday for 01 night with my friend , i have booked through Booking.com, once i had reached at hotel no one asked for welcome tea or drink like as 4 star and they didnot know how to speak with guest after that i had checked in and room was normal like 2 star hotel.
I have ordered egg biryani in night time one of staff came with food and he kept the food at table and his talking tone was like normal waiter. I am totally disappointed on that.
In the morning i got vomiting all the biryani, do not know what was in food. After that i went to airport that time at reception 3 guys was there include security, no one came for helping my luggage even my health was not good due to vomiting.
