Hotel Grand Imperial

Location is about 5 minutes walk from Karol Bagh and from other restaurants. There are two places for breakfast and dinner. One is underground and one in the dining area on ground floor. We were asked to have breakfast on ground floor. It was a bit uncomfortable and the tables were low.

1. The location is very good and just a 5 minute walk from the Karol Bagh metro station. 2. Check-in is open all night so you can walk in whenever you want. 3. The hotel and the rooms are maintained well - and are quite pleasant (unlike other hotels in the area, you can see things out the windows) 4. The food in the hotel is below average. Its best to get a room without breakfast. There are a number of great breakfast places within walking distance. 5. The billing is a little shady. I asked to pay my room service bill by CC - suddenly, GST got added. Asked for a proper printed bill, and they couldnt give me one. So be ready for those antics. 6. Otherwise, the staff is ok, Not great, but efficient and functional. All-in-all, a good place to stay on a business trip when you are planning to only sleep in the hotel.

This is a business-type hotel in a really busy district of New Delhi. It is clean, comfortable and well-suited to Western travellers. The surrounding area has different amenities including ATMs, money exchanges and restaurants. There are a number of different attractions locally, including the parliament buildings and amazing temples.

Stayed here one night as part of an organised tour. Room was clean, spacious and bathroom OK. Tea & coffee making bits but no kettle!. Would have been nice if staff had uniform so you could idenitfy them. Communal areas could have done with a good sweep and clean. Breakfast was served in basement - dirty room and poor choice but attentive staff.

This hotel is fine for a short period. It's a bit grimey and dirty in some of the rooms (We were in a big group) but it's quite well located and you can manage it for a short period (say one or two nights). The Wi-Fi is decent and The air conditioning works. The breakfast was also okay.
