Visited the resort for a family function arranged in the basement hall. Location is good away from the hustle and bustle of Delhi. Parking space is ample for visitors. Exterior facade appears good at night. While location is clearly visible while driving on the road from Delhi side, from Gurgaon side there is an absence of marking for the u turn to be taken. Decoration seemed good. Was quite disappointed with the food, service and management of the place. Snacks were cold and appeared reheated rather than being prepared fresh. Serving staff seemed wandering about aimlessly with empty servings. Also they seemed more interested in the happenings during the function. Definitely a lack of training and prior briefing. The lotus stem snack was definitely soggy and appeared reheated rather than being crispy. Sesame toast and cocktail pizzas were OK. Hara bhara kebabs and Amritsari paneer were a total let down. Food spread looked delicious but was lacking in taste. Salads were OK with the Waldorf salad being one of the better ones. Dahi bhallas were hard. Dal makhani was insipid and the indian breads didn't appear fresh. Desserts were the biggest letdown. Halwa was atrocious, jalebis tasted of stale ghee, rabri appeared to have been thickened artificially. Mango souffle too didn't tickle the taste buds. The biggest disaster was the management. The elevator got stuck with people inside at basement level and it took more than 30 minutes for the resort maintenance team to open the same using Crow bars etc. The tool for emergency opening didn't seem to have been tested earlier and the other resort staff appeared disjointed and lacking in coordination for dealing with such emergencies. Clearly no mock drills have been used or practiced earlier. This should be a wake up call for the management to avoid the recurrence of such an incident.

Recently had my function with them. I must say that they made my dream come true. Everything was well planned and specially the staff was really supportive. They were humble and professional at the same time. Loved the food quality and the decoration was amazing too. I would definitely recommend this to all my family members as the prices are reasonable too as per the quality they serve. Thanks again to Lutyens's staff for such amazing service.

Had a one day business workshop, with roof top access, very spacious and brightly lit. Very suitable for Business Workshops and client meetings. Food served is of very high quality. Service is also excellent.

I had a very unpleasant experience with sales staff of Lutyens resort and their decor vendor recently when I had tried to book a family function. Their attitude after taking the booking amount not only disturbed my peace of mind but also shook my belief in their ability to provide top notch customer service during my party which they promise to every client. Their sales manager Ms. Sheetu Anand was very rude during discussions and said that they just look for 5 star clients as the resort is going to be transformed into a 5-star property within a year. Every organization has a policy and that is understandable but the way they talk with the customer is something I have never come across in hospitality industry. They are not only rigid but rude too. In middle of the discussion when things were getting finalized and we had few points to be cleared, she got up and walked away saying she does not have time for so much discussion and we should contact her senior Mr. Sudhir. He appeared to be better than her at customer handling but proved us wrong later on. One of their decor vendors Mr. Shivang Aggarwal of Gupta Celebrations finalized with us to do the work for our party. He told us that he can share the photographs only when we give him advance. But later on he too started giving weird replies when we asked for the selected theme photographs. When I called up Mr. Sudhir to discuss this he too did not give any positive reply. I did not want to compromise on the quality of party and after seeing such non-cooperative attitude by the hotel staff and vendor which is unacceptable in hospitality services, I decided not to host my party at Lutyens. I am not sure if this happens with everyone but I will suggest that whoever goes there should go at their own risk.

We were here for a function and the food which the hotel served was tasty and looked fresh. I would come here just to enjoy food at the restaurant because of the quality of the food. Top marks for that.

Demo Trip This place is good to host social or business events and group can stay in the 8 rooms they have. But only for accomodation alone, not recommended due to the silence in the resort throughout the day otherwise.
