Complaint...........The hotel did not allow me to stay in spite of a confirmed booking giving the excuse that the booking was not confirmed by travel guru hence they relocated me in another hotel which is the worst kind of service u can expect out of a confirmed booking

I never had the chance to stay at the florence inn, as I was told when I arrived, that it was full and i was moved to another hotel within the group called the florence, the std of the florence was ok but not as good as the Florence Inn. I find the whole experience unacceptable.experience unacceptable.

We stayed at the Hotel Florence for 1 night. The hotel is located in Karol Bagh right next to a market where you can do lots of good shopping. The staff are very helpful. The Deluxe Room is an excellent value for money. The room was clean and equipped with TV (which I definitely needed). And I would like to recommend it to every person, looking for a decent place to stay.h TV (which I definitely needed). This is a very attractive, clean and convenient hotel. While the staff inside the hotel is very good, the staff manning the front desk seems overstretched to the point that they cannot be as helpful as tourists need.

We stayed at the hotel at the beginning and near the end of out trip. It had character. The location was difficult for our driver to access because of the market area but it was festival time. We felt comfortable walking in the market in the early evening and there was a good variety of shops. The initial room was small at the back of the hotel but we appreciated the quiet to get over the jet lag. The second room was much bigger. Beds were comfortable, we found the standard of cleanliness high. The breakfast was similar to the rest of the Hotels we stayed in and was adequate with a choice of both Indian and western style food. The dinners we again enjoyed. The staff were friendly and the service good.

We arrived late at the Delhi airport. Times India travel had arranged a driver to pick us up and booked us at the Florence Inn for one night. There was a big Hindi festival going on with dancing in the streets and many of the roads had been blocked off but our driver found the hotel and got us there. They assured us we had a quiet room in the back and we wouldn't be able to hear all the loud celebration. Turned out to be true. Room was clean and comfortable. We had a good breakfast included.

Our welcome was great and very helpful. Arranged a tour for us which was fabulous and fitted in well with our short time frame. The old world atmosphere of the hotel was just lovely and fitted the name, the marble floors and and the obvious refurbishment of our room was just so well done, loved the bathroom. Was close to some shopping. We enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast was in line with any breakfasts we had during our stay in India.

Florence Inn is tucked cozily in Karol Bagh near the metro station. The location is quite an advantage for the hotel as well as travellers, providing a centre point for various tourist places across New Delhi. The hotel itself is an average property in the urban quarters and does not provide any special views from the windows. The hotel however scores on the quietness - we reached during Durga Puja and despite a pandal being next door, the room was very quiet. The rooms are averagely equipped like all other mid-range hotels. I wish, though that the bathroom could have better facilities. The food is below average and not many options are available in breakfast buffet. Usually it's only one/two people attending to customers which led to slow service at times. The service otherwise however is nice and prompt. The staff is courteous and helpful.

Badly welcomed and we have been given a room on the ground floor next to the kitchen door while our booking was done weeks before our arrival. Staff is not helpful at all and isn't aware of proper hospitality communication. Food was poor also. Will not recommend. Plus there is no any special indian charm
