Checking: As it was a self check-in hotel, We got the Key & check in our self at about 23:30. Room: The Room was mid a sized room, Unfortunately we didn't get a room with a double bed instead we got a room with 2 single beds. :(. It was neat and very basic even had a coffee maker. Food: We had Breakfast as a buffet. It had a wide range of choice from corn flakes to potato wedges to idly, puri etc. The taste was nice. Good for the money we paid. Safe room: Since we had to check out by 12 noon we keep our luggage in the safe room which was a nice option so that we can roam around a bit (we went a mall near by and saw a film) and come back for the luggage without paying a extra charges. Distance: It is near Kundardoma Metro station. But It is almost very far from all the main places like Karol bagh, Airport, Market, Tourist places etc. The location was not that great we had to spend more than 1000 bucks for transport alone in our 3 night stay. Others: There was a travel desk facility, Coffee day in reception and also basic room services on additional costs. Overall: I would recommend this hotel except for the distance it was a great value for money with all facility.

Not quite Ginger Not quite Ginger

The CheckIn experience was quite disheartening and horrifying l. Firstly had to travel 2 floors underground to park my car and to top up the agony, there was no lift to ground floor, so had to take stairs all the way to ground floor lobby with all luggage (no bell boy/ service staff was available). Not miss the staircase from 2nd basement to ground floor had just 2 CFLs, remaining seems to be fused/ not working. The reception staff was also too raw to handle clients with terrible communication skills. I suggest Tata should spend some money at least into training the Ginger staff to live up to the brand image it carries, although Ginger being a economic business hotel. At the time of check-in a couple entered the hotel without any baggage just to use room for few hours and were given rooms without identity provided by the lady. This kind of practise stains image of the hotel and I am quite sure not to use Ginger ever again in future. The food except for the biryani ordered in my 2 day stay was all pathetic and unhygienic. The breakfast buffet was quite a mockery, I strongly suggest them not to have any buffet, guests will be happy to order on a-la-carte. The rooms were nice and clean as shown across all booking sites.

What I really like about this place is the helpful attitude of the staff, always willing to go that extra mile for their guests, at least that's been my experience. Special thanks to Anuj in front office and Parshuram from housekeeping for the great service that they offer and for always making my stay here a very comfortable one!

I stayed here for a night in Dec 2016. I have stayed in Ginger hotels earlier and had a certain expectation w.r.t. the cleanliness, service and business life feel of the Ginger chain. But this hotel falls short by a great measure. Firstly, this is no way a business hotel as we had encountered a huge marriage party which taken over majority of the rooms, and were creating a ruckus. The rooms reminded me of a cheap lodge which we find outside railway stations. The room smelt bad, beds creaked, AC and set top box was non functional and the furniture was in beaten down form and poor taste. The bathroom wasn't cleaned well with stains all over the pot and curtains. This is in no way worth the 3000 minus tax tariff they charge per night. The only good thing about the hotel was its WiFi which was in top form and the responsive staff. This Ginger hotel needs to buck up to live up to its reputation set by its other counterparts in other cities.

The Ginger chain of hotels offers a standardised budget chain across India. Owned by the Tata Business house this chain comes as a welcome offer to business and leisure travelers alike. This particular hotel in East Delhi offers a budget experience with a comfortable bed in albeit a small room. We stayed in the hotel for three days on a family visit and found it to be reasonable and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the breakfast spread was reasonable keeping in mind the budget nature of the hotel. The hotel is adequately close to sufficient restaurants and malls to make it a good place to stay.

I had arrived the hotel for a small transit stay alongwith my two other colleagues. I had booked one room for triple occupancy but i got only a double room. I was surprised to see only double room for which i complained to the reception also. The room was small which was expected though being a business hotel. But they refused to give us a triple sharing room. Instead they arranged for an extra mattress on the floor. We were deeply annoyed as even after paying for triple sharing, arrangements were not at at upto the mark. Hugely dissapointed as Ihad never expected this from Ginger.
