As a single female I was a bit concerned about the very dodgy area full of car repair shops and a hotel that only seems to be full of men. The reception area can be a bit intimidating. Overall however it is a decent hotel with very good WiFi and the staff are very attentive and responsive to your needs.

Hotel Aster Inn is a decent hotel in the such a messy area. The facility is above average for the locality. Window AC heavy duty but noisy. Food is ok, but order takes lot of time. Wifi is good. Cars can be parked in front of the Hotel.

Main problem: really dirty. Toilet not cleaned, linnen dirty -> we asked new linnen and still dirty with holes... Breakfast is in an underground room without window and... dirty! The insects were running around on the wall near our table, the glasses were very dirty, they were covered by a carton... very dirty. Incredible, this is what you expect in a 1 USD hotel. Room was very noisy because of poor window and the kitchen has no windows...). Fridge didn't work, someone came and 'fixed' it, but no change, we stopped asking. Our worst experience in a 10-day journey in India (by far!). Hotel needs complete makeover and someone capable of organising decent services.

Very nice hotel and service is excellent, Mr. Rajesh, is very friendly and provide all help for our Sight seeing . It is close to Metro station, Break fast is nice, and they dont have many choice. Room service is appreciated. Hotel stall will provide you car for Sight seeing at reasonable rate. Suggest this hotel for Families who are planning to Visit Delhi.

staff were friendly and helpful (e.g. in hailing my uber cab which couldn't quite find its way to the hotel), but i am a little unhappy about the hygiene levels, e.g. in the breakfast area, they could clean the tablecloths now and then. in the room too the sheets were not exactly pristine. other than these, for a budget hotel it remains quite acceptable. i also found the surrounding area a little nasty after recent rains, and it was not fun to walk around. crowded karol bagh of course is not the most pleasant locality anyway
