I went on to visit Delhi in January last month with my family. It was amazing staying at this hotel. It was centrally located in Karol Bagh. I stayed there for 5 days.hotel staff was very cooperative and rooms were neat and clean.

A Nightmare A Nightmare

We booked online and flew out of Newark, NJ for Delhi, India in Dec 2015 thinking we had our hotel taken care of once we arrived. We did our reservation through their "secure online booking." We even had a confirmation code! When our flight arrived in Delhi late into the night, we had a cab take us to the Benz Hotel or "da Benzo Guesthouse" as our taxi driver called it. It is in such an obscure place in Delhi none of the locals recognized it. No one had heard of it. Our taxi driver had to use our international calling on our cell 3 different times to call the man working the desk at the Benz.This would have been the time for the Benz manager to say: "sorry we gave your room away." They did not have this courtesy. We arrived to the Benz. It was located in an extremely troubling part of Delhi. Many beggars in the street. It had a steel chain locked around the door. We were so tired from our 12-hr flight that we were still willing to sleep there. We beat on the door until the man loosened the chain enough to stick his head out to tell us our room had been given away. He didn't care about our confirmation code or helping us find a new room. Luckily, our funds were refunded from our bank. It's a blessing in disguise.In case of a fire, how would one get out of a building that is chained shut? What if the person with the key to the lock had a heart attack and perished and you had an emergency and needed to flee the hotel? The Benz needs to do some serious security measures and get rid of the steel chain on the door and get a modern lock and hire some security guards like most hotels have in India. It is not safe for anyone inside the Benz with that steel chain on the door. They also need to have a better registration system, so guests traveling internationally do not have their room given away before they arrive! The middle of night it is not safe, as foreigners, to go traversing around Delhi in a desperate, sleep-deprived, jet-lagged search for a new hotel. Benz, please get it together and don't put your international guests in danger! Show them TRUE Indian hospitality!

This is one of the best properties I have been to so far. Given the reputation of Oyo Rooms, they have maintained there standards. Regarding Hotel, It is perfect for any kind of travelers as it comes as a budget hotel. Service is excellent and rooms are spacious as well as hygienic. Definitely thumps up for this hotel.

The tour company we booked through recommended this place instead of our hotel we were in. The room was small but comfortable. Wifi was available although it dropped in and out a lot. Breakfast was included in another hotel around the corner, it was nice. Located in a quiet neighborhood.

Miserable Miserable

We booked Hotel Rama Deluxe but on arrival was informed that the accommodation was full and they will put us in another of their property i.e. this hotel. We went to this hotel which is in an alley. We were offered one room in ground floor and the other one in 2nd floor (inspite of booking two rooms well in advance of a month and half). The door knob of the bathroom was broken, when informed the hotel stuff they told nothing can be done. The AC is a central one and more than often it is not functional and you have to call the hotel stuff to fix the regulator for you.
