The staff left me a pretty good impression after 16-day tiring trip in India. We went back to Delhi from Jaipur late at night by train and then just walked to the hotel. We wanted to to Tamra restaurant for dinner in Shangri-la Hotel before flying back to China the next evening. The porter drove away a bad tuktuk driver asking a very high price and helped us find a good one, which really impressed us. I really enjoyed the breakfast in this hotel. It was the best breakfast I'd ever had in India. The staff also arranged convenient airport drop-off at a reasonable price for us:-) 505050505050

Everything about this hotel is great; except the noise. Isolation front & rear not so good, especially internal noise which travels via hard floors and unisolated doors. If you need to rest or sleep, then I'm sure you can find (much) quieter places.

The hotel is centrally located, and perfect to visit all the tourist locations of new and old Delhi. New, clean, boutique style chic with wonderful helpful staff along with a free airport pickup - we really couldn't fault it. Yes, it is on a busy street, but that adds to the charm overlooking the madness of Delhi from the rooftop terrace/ restaurant / bar.

City Star is a great hotel but is in a not so nice area ( mentioned plenty of times in other reviews) The staff are friendly and helpful, you can change money and arrange transport. The rooftop terrace is a refuge in the madness of Delhi and the food is great both breakfast and other meals. Its not too far from the airport to delhi metro station so handy for that. Great stay.

Stayed for 4 days over Christmas. Had a great time here. Room was very clean and tidy and cleaned regularly. Breakfast only average but dinners when ordered were good and reasonably priced. Surrounding area and markets were interesting and we always felt safe. Staying here where the locals live made the stay a lot more interesting. Would i stay again. Certainly
