It is a brand new property. My Emperor Room was fresh with clean double bed. The food in the restaurant was good also staff service was very good. They still haven't started with Wi-Fi facility. Quality of the hotel was great and definitely its value for the money.

The property was just ok. The room arrangement was not satisfactory and the a/c was very close to the bed. So we paid extra amount and upgrade our room but same problem arise there also. Room service and food was also quite ordinary.

This Hotel May Be A Reasonable Value In New Delhi, But Keep Your Expectations Low This Hotel May Be A Reasonable Value In New Delhi, But Keep Your Expectations Low

by nyccheapskate on November 22, 2016

This hotel is located in a very lively, even hectic area of Delhi within walking distance of the Karol Bagh metro station. The area is raunchy but interesting, with many cheaply priced restaurants and food stands. I booked one of the hotel's premium rooms, which are supposedly recently renovated and the best available in the hotel. Superficially, the room is modern, and it has a nice bathroom area with a glass enclosure. However, a wall in the room had a large stain, and the cheap chair in the room was kind of grungy. The channels offered on the TV were all but useless to English speakers. There were minor problems with the fixtures in the room, including a broken hinge on a door that covered the refrigerator. The shower was lukewarm at best at night, which was an annoyance. Only one cheap tear-open packet of shampoo was provided. The WiFi was okay, except that it slowed to a crawl at night (annoyingly, each device you had required a separate password), while the breakfast was poor, as it included NO juice and only instant coffee. You could get an omelette cooked to order, but no cheese or other expectable ingredients were available (only two ingredients were offered, neither of them meat). The air conditioning was loud and blasting, and at one point it stopped working, requiring a repair. The staff was only minimally pleasant. You had to leave your room key with the front desk or be present in order for the room to get housekeeping service. On balance, this hotel might represent a reasonable value for the money in New Delhi, but it was not a particularly pleasant stay for me. I expected more. I would also note that New Delhi itself presents some real challenges. Be prepared for rude behavior on lines and in the metro (I'm a guy; it is for good reason that the metro has women-only cars). However, it also offers some impressive sights, including Humayun's Tomb, the Red Fort and the Qutb Minar Complex.

We as a family with parents and kids visited the hotel in 1st week of November. I am a very positive person and as such never like to criticise anyone, but sometimes for the sake of improvement and the habit of taken for granted has to be changed to bring perfection. We stayed in room no 302 and 303 and inspite of telling multiple times they didn't call a plumber for the dripping tap and at last said you can change the room that too in morning Rush hours only. If you order even water it won't come on time, forget other things. Broken tiles in bathroom must be since long, unhanged.

Visited this hotel in Oct 2016. Hotel infrastructure is good. Property is well maintained. Service is a big issue. We had booked two rooms. Check in time is 12 noon. We reached at around 12.15 pm. One room was allotted to us immediately but they were preparing the other room. It took them more than one hour to prepare the room that too after four reminders. Rooms are too small, not good enough for a couple and a kid. We faced the following issues/ have the following observations: 1. They give only one bath towel, no hand towel, no rug/ mat outside bathroom. We put laundry bag outside bathroom to protect the room flooring from getting dirty. 2. Hot water will come only after you leave the tap open for 15- 20 minutes. This solution was given by hotel plumber after entering the bathroom with his sports shoes on and after telling the hotel also, they did not cleaned the room. 3. Hair dryer was not working. We checked it just before the check out so did not complain about it. But they should check it before room allotment. 4. On the second day of our stay the Tata Sky connection was showing payment reminders. On our check out day Tata Sky discontinued services. 5. Breakfast is very basic and limited. Though they have given time till 10.30, things started getting over from 9.30 with no refill. 6. Each time when we wanted tea coffee refill, we had to remind them 3 times and what we heard from them is that milk powder is over.. 7. Restaurant is unreasonably priced and slow. One glass of milk costs rs. 88/- 8. We heard the owner shouting in full volume at their staff in the morning. How unprofessional. 9. There are use n throw paper glasses in restaurant not glass or steel ones. Unprofessional. Hotel is located just in the market but in a very congested area. Traffic Jam is inevitable. Advice: The owner shall hire staff from good school.
