Stayed at Hotel Good Times for a couple of nights at the start of a tour, and after completing the tour. My friend and I shared a twin room on each occasion - both had clean bathrooms with warm water (a luxury in India!!). Rooms were well air conditioned and spacious enough for the night - very relieving after a hot day out! Hotel restaurant left something to be desired, however the staff were friendly and accommodating. There is a small grocery store about 5 minutes down the road which was handy for picking up snacks/breakfast, toiletries etc. Hotel wifi was good, not free of charge for the returning night but cheap enough (a few AU dollars). Hotel was a little far out from restaurants and main attractions, taxi/rickshaw drivers were a little confused about how to get there, but it is a short walk from a metro station and that was easy enough. Smaller coffee shops and restaurants/takeaway shops about 15 minute walk away (all flat, but be careful when it rains - almost impossible to walk along the side of the road without being up to your calves in water!)

We were accommodated in this hotel for 2 nights as part of a tour. They knew we were coming but on arrival the rooms were not cleaned and ready and still they gave us access to the dirty rooms. There was no bottled water in the rooms as per agreement. Our tour guide had to explain to them what to do as it was late 8pm , we were tired and hungry and they acted as didn't understand what is all that fuss about. They had to be repeated many times same thing. The food was served in small room(not fitting all group),was cold and not eatable. I got room with heavy fresh cigarette fumes, something what i really cant stand but i stayed there as for me more disgusting and scary was dealing with the reception, others had worst problems, wet beds, no hot water,dirty bathrooms,damp/mould .They had many excuses for everything but they manage to clean few most dirty rooms. We stayed there but for second night we requested to be moved to clean hotel. Local agent , who booked this hotel,promised that hotel will make for us better food and will be hot and the rooms will be clean. After all day touring around in Delhi we arrived to the same hotel at around 7pm the food was the same cold and exactly same as evening before and the rooms were not clean because they didn't know if we are staying there or moving out, the cards were not working, again tension, rude reception and shouting rude woman from management who didnt know if our rooms should be cleaned again? We didn't have choice, we stayed there but that was scary,discussing experience.

stayed twice during january 2017. we were a family of 8 with 2 kids and stayed in 3 double rooms. rooms are ok. two of the rooms had AC issues, which when reported was acted upon promptly but could not rectify the defect. Front desk hospitality depends on who is manning. One insisted on presentation of only gents IDs upon checkin, preferable to ladies, he said. Most Strange!!!!!

I sent multiple emails to this hotel concerning a room preference and their booking of local tours and I got no response. I then asked G Adventures, my tour company, to contact the hotel and they got no response. I am glad the hotel has nothing to do with booking my car from the airport. I asked G Adventure to use another hotel to start our tour, but that was not possible. BTW the hotels website is currently down not a good sign. A terrible first impression.

This was our first hotel in India, as part of a G-Adventures tour. We stayed here at the beginning and then again, after 2 weeks travelling the north of India. The first time it was awful. The room and bed were dirty!! and of course just 2 very small and thin towels, almost no toilette paper. However, the second time, the hotel was cleaner and looked nicer (after Diwali festival), we got a much nicer room and it was even clean!!, the washroom was comfortable and it even had a small glass door separating the shower. The surrounding area is not beautiful, but if you have a guide with you, you will find good restaurants at a walking distance. The people at the hotel are friendly and will get you taxis to take you wherever you wish to go.
