Hotel is clean and well maintained. It doesn't look great from outside but at least the family suite that I took is pretty clean and good for a family stay. I informed at the reception that I will be checking out the next day early morning. The next morning at 5 am when I was about to pay through credit card, I was told that they don't accept credit cards in the morning. And more over they say that I should have informed them that I will be paying through credit card so that I could have cleared the bill the earlier day itself. This is ridiculous as how can we expect that the hotel will not accept credit cards. There is no notice also at the reception. However they pointed me to an ATM and I have checked out. I checked in to the same hotel 2 days later and informed that I will pay through credit card and they said OK. The next afternoon again while checking out they say that credit card machine is not working and they accept only cash. That was pathetic.

Great staff, fantastic room service menu and food. Internet was fast our furst 2 days then incredibly slow the rest of our stay and we had to get a new code every 24 hours. The rooms were very big and clean and the bathroom was very nice. Good location and one of the better hotels in the area.

I found the manager of the hotel not so welcoming. The staffs are good. Rooms are spacious. I stayed twice and every time they forgot to provide either towels or drinking water or tea bags. Service is below average. Few rooms are smelly, so if you get one such rooms, insist for a different one. Never take a car from the hotel as they have bad reputation among car providers. I paid for a AC cab but got a non-AC one. Use Uber instead! Only if you are getting a really good deal like below 1500 and don't intend to stay for long, then you can book this hotel else not recommended.

The room was great. Location was great. Our issue was on checkout. Originally our train got cancelled due to floods, so we had to change the date. We rang and also emailed. Both confirmed that the date has been noted to change to a couple of days later. Then later I received an email from bookings.com that the hotel registered I did a no show, the money for the night had been debited from my account. So when we arrived at the hotel I explained all this and he said he understood. Well come checkout I showed him the email that said they put us as no show, the email confirming they received our date change, and showed him my online credit card statement where it said the money was debitted from 'Hotel Krishna'. Nope, wasn't good enough and made me ring bookings.com on my own mobile. It took over an hour of arguing with them til they finally gave up and could suddenly see on their end that we had paid. Then he was apologetic. They also offered free pick up from the train station (literally 300m down the road) as part of our booking which we didn't use. We explained that (after everything was sorted and he was apologetic) so asked if we could be dropped off at the station. Of course his whole body language changed and he said "yes for a fee". Bad customer service. This place was too much grief. Do yourself a favour and just stay somewhere else.

Hotel in very very noisy location and dirty surroundings. During our second night at around midnight we saw a rat in the room. The manger/person on duty was called and he came with two other staff with brooms to scary away the rat. After he saw the rat, he asked us to move in the middle of the night to another room. With this in the back of our mind no one slept that night. Approached the duty manager in the morning again at check out and he did not even apologise for the inconvenience we went through the night, it seems like it is a common occurrence at the hotel. NOT RECOMMENDED
