I stayed in this hotel from Jan 28 - Feb 1. The reception offered me to buy a SIM card at 750 rupees, while I bought from outside at 450 rupees including 1.5 GB Internet.
Furthermore, I needed C-form for police registration, one unprofessional person at the reception was saying in Hindi to another that, "don't issue him the c-form, let him go to FRRO, if he would need it, let him come back" not caring how the customer would be affected! He didn't know that, I understand Hindi and noted his mistreatment. I told him, what he is doing is unfair. Then, he got mad and mentioned and he would not renew my stay there. It was like kicking someone out! Very unprofessional and unpleasant treatment! Furthermore, if I didn't remind few times to clean the room, they wouldn't do so!
Otherwise, the place was spacious with reasonable price! I recommend the hotel really need to train its staff how to behave with customers! They run their business based on customers' satisfaction! I never recommend anybody stay there if they expect a fair treatment, not being cheated!
We ended our honeymoon in Delhi and were very happy staying here. The service was excellent, rooms were clean, and we were close to all of the shopping and central parts of New Delhi. Highly recommended and we will definitely consider returning again.
Amazing value and service for the price. Very professional atmosphere. Exceedingly clean. Modern decor!! Also very well located in Paharganj by the New Delhi Railway Station and Metro stations.
Clean, spacious, comfortable & secure, it offers great value to the hard-working traveler. Very gracious, helpful staff, properly managed & conveniently located, it makes one's stay in this hell-realm as painless & pleasant as possible.
The service was very good, they really made us feel at home, especially Enna was a wonderful host. The rooms were always clean and the beds incredibly comfortable. The restaurant serves amazing dishes, some very familiar others exotic to us tourists but without a doubt with a certain Indian charm. Same goes for the breakfast, you can choose between some very familiar or very exotic dishes.
We stayed at the Hotel Krishna Deluxe for one night before travelling home.
We requested a quieter room which we got, situated towards the back of the hotel. The street at the front of the hotel is VERY busy with lots of traffic, people and lots of other hotels. Our room had no view (which was NO problem to us) but it was an absolute blessing as it WAS SO QUIET!!
Room was large with a huge bed, and it was very clean and had all the amenities you would expect, TV, tea-making facilities, en-suite etc. There wasn't a safe or fridge or mini bar, but we didn't expect that anyway!
The ensuite turned out to be a 'Wet Room' which personally I'm not a fan of, and obviously H&S isn't as strict in India as back at home, as there was an electric fan in the room about a foot away from the shower head, an an electric power point close too!
The tiled floor obviously does get very wet when the shower is used, so take care when getting up in the night to use the bathroom as I nearly slipped over in the darkness (the floor does get VERY slippery!)
Check in/out was straight forward and we arranged for the hotel to book us a taxi to the airport the following morning. We had to pay at Reception for the taxi in cash and then the driver collected his fare from the Reception desk (presumably minus a large fee)
As for proximity to the Railway Station, it is very close and there is a great market close by too selling all sorts of things and GREAT for forgotten last minute gifts! There are a few restaurants close too (and a GREAT coffee shop in the hotel next door) but a lot of them seem 'dry' so be aware. We actually found a "restaurant" and asked them if they sold beer, and they said they did, only for us to discover that someone had legged it over to the Wine Shop nearby to buy us the two beers we asked for! Great customer service!
All in all, a great night's sleep in a clean and comfortable hotel!
The place was great, rooms were clean & Tidy, however the only issue is the people at the reception who lack customer service. The level of customer service at this location is pretty low, they lack honesty and are very disorganized.
the stay at the hotel was good with most of the facilities providing high value for money, however id not advice any visits to this premises solely due to the attitude of the employees at the reception and their attitude towards Asian travelers.
