Overpriced and incompetent staff Overpriced and incompetent staff

by Robbo661 on December 11, 2016

Apart from the location, this hotel doesn't have much going for it. We arrived in Delhi after a 24 train ride from Varanasi thanks to the heavy fog. A pushy man took us here when we got out of the train station an after calling a couple of other hotels that were close, we reluctantly agreed to go with him based on his promise of rooms for INR1000/1500. We arrived and had to pay INR2500 for an average room with check-in that was after midnight. The hotel is unfinished and untidy for the price - you can do so much better in Delhi. The staff were unfriendly and didn't make us feel welcome whatsoever. After less than a 12 hour stay, we got out of there asap. They 'looked after our luggage' for some of the day by putting it in the lobby with stickers on it. Has potential with A LOT of room for improvement.

A centrally located hotel in close proximity of New delhi station and paharganj. The rooms are decent . The atmosphere is very noisy and staff are also very loud not realsing the comfort of guests. The rooms could be better if the management looks into the needs in a better way.To be precise i travelledd last July .

Generally Fine Hotel, Some Terrible Staff Though Generally Fine Hotel, Some Terrible Staff Though

For the price, the room was fine. It had AC, two clean beds and an OK bathroom. Nothing to write home about. But, there was one guy at the desk who was just awful. When we first got to the hotel, we said that we were going to look for another place since it was a little out of our price range (we were two college students), but only stayed because they lowered the price quite a bit. After that, however, the guy at the front desk kept trying to eek out every little rupee out of us. He tried to overcharge us by about 400 rupees for a taxi to the airport and then wouldn't tell us the wifi password so we could call an Uber. This was after asking for an extra 100 rupees so he could split it with our Rickshaw driver the first night. It's unfortunate we had to stay here to cap off such a great time in India overall. Please try to find another hotel if you can.

Last January me & my Wife stayed at this hotel for few days. The room was clean & cozy.Bathroom was well maintained.Room service was good.Food was not so tasty.Staff were very kind.Only the bad thing is,some of the housekeeping enter into the room without knocking. They must know the basics.Overall as per the budget, the hotel is very good compare to the other hotels on the D.B.Gupta road.We love to stay there again.

Don't stay here!!! Don't stay here!!!

We came for 2 nights. The rooms are not clean at all, we found a cockroach running across the room. The bed sheets were dirty, when we checked in I had to ask the front desk to change them. We had 2 rooms. One of the rooms had a window, with street view and noise. The other one had no window at all. Every time we wanted to take a shower we had to call the front desk to ask them to turn on the boiler, otherwise no hot water in the room. Hallway is noisy and the phone outside, very close to our door was ringing all night.
