Pardon me for using such harsh words...but the spirit inside me was so damned after visiting hotel oakland....I couldn't find better and decent vocabulary.....Lets start from Arrival....difficult to find...dimly guards...u reach the reception only to find an welcoming male staff at the front desk...I was surely taken for a ride by OYO...because the photographs of the hotel and rooms are so deceptive...u could easily fall prey....the guy at the front desk bluntly told us that the room which we had booked and as evident in the photograph wasn't their's....and he was rude enough to also tell us that we could cancel the booking if we don't find the rooms appropriate...which we couldn't do because it was night which was dark and cold....rooms were I'll maintained...bathroom fittings falling apart...dirty linen...tea cups drinking day morning we arrive for breakfast....which consisted of poori bhaji and boiled eggs...that was the spread which was available...even after enquiring....the waiters were rude enough to tell us that is what is available....we were served old purees which were reheated....oil dripping like water falls....we obviously shunned the breakfast and ordered for food from outside for rest of the stay....It is worthwhile to mention that for the price I paid....I was cheated by OYO and by the hotel....needless to mention that they aren't aware of ABC of hospitality

The pictures of the hotel on oyo rooms are very deceptive. The hotel is worn out but that is not the worst part. It looks like this hotel is run by people who don't have any clue about hospitality and basic guest services. I will blame oyo rooms for exaggerating the pictures on their website. Please also note if you are trying to locate the hotel on google maps it will give a completly opposite address. Check the the hotel to get correct coordinates. Better to avoid as there is a lot missing even if it is on bagrain.

It was 1st experience in Delhi to have excellent quality hotel . Even before this I mostly use to avoid to stay in delhi and the hotels. Friendly staff and excellent food quality / service of hotel was relay memorable...... Thanks !!!!

Im really surprised on how friendly was the staff of this hotel, I stayed here for 3 months, and each day it makes me feel like home. Definitely, a good experience to stay in this property. The cordiality from the FrontDesk agents, Housekeepers, Restaurant, Managers; was very friendly. The room was big and completely cleanliness. This hotel is really near of most of the turistical places in New Delhi, also from the commercial areas and malls. I would like to crongratulate all the employees for their hard job and to make my stay AMAZING!

Absolutely one of he worst hotels I've ever stayed at. Stayed for two nights in a standard room. There is only one positive thing to say about the hotel and that is that the cleanliness fortunately was not at par with the overall standard. Had it been that it would have been disgusting. The hotel is really run down. Everything seems old and in poor condition. The rooms are acceptable but still rather poor. They are quite spacious and the AC although really loud works. The bathroom was ok even though the toilet flushing didn't work all the time. The breakfast was one of the worst I've ever had. Both in terms of variety and quality. Now speaking of breakfast here comes the absolute worst thing about the hotel and something I've never experienced before. The first night we were called at 3 am in the morning to be informed that breakfast was served from 7 am. I was like: "ehh why are you waking me up to tell me that". The duty manager just responded: "breakfast at 7 am". After he hung up I could hear that the phone was ringing in the next room. So I suspect he called other rooms. We agreed that the manager had probably been drunk and laughed it off. However the next night we got the same call twice first at 3 am then at 4.30 am: "This is to inform you that breakfast is served from 7 am". The last time I could only respond in disbelief: "why, why, why are you waking me up to tell me this?". Reponse: "Ok sir, breakfast at 7 am, ok sir". What a disaster! Stay away from this joke of a hotel. Surely there are better deals in the vicinity.
