A very good hotel with coperative staff. They could improve the breakfast by providing Western and Indian fare.
Good value for money.
Its a budget hotel. Room was basic and not that clean. Staff was not well trained. Food was ok. Needs lot of improvement.
Our stay was good in Deluxe Room. Cleanliness was impressive. Its value for money.
Hotel has restaurant which serves different varieties of food. The food quality was excellent in taste. Staffs were courteous and co-operative in their work. Rooms were spacious with clean bed sheet and pillows. The location was wonderful near the hotel.

Rooms are nice and as well as with all needy facilities as well as full Wifi..staff is responsive and mannered. Stayed here for few days and was pretty satisfied.I have seen previous reviews ..which are very old and horrible .. i dont know why they said it overpriced, dirty and blah blah ..you cant get much facilities like they are giving now in other hotels.. ! Its nice :)
We stayed in Raunak International on February 2011 for a night. I am writing this review after 3.5 years, all I can remember is that the dinner was too good, the sleep quality was average, extremely overpriced, check-in and check-out was smooth. We reached hotel after 10 pm, and the street was empty and all the eateries and shops were close by then. The hotel didn't look safe for family, we were even scared to open the doors for room service as the corridors were not properly lit, many people roaming in the corridors and felt unsafe for the whole stay. Buffet breakfast was below average, mostly Indian food, will surely be a disappointment for foreigners, I would say this hotel is good for bachelors without much expectation, and just for an overnight stay if no other hotels are available. I will never stay in this hotel again for my next Delhi trip.
Hotel Runak Unternational, has really moved location. It is around the corner from where it was, and where some of the pfrofessional photos were taken. We stayed here as part of a group, and it was not really a good way to start off a trip around India. The staff are fairly confused, and the hotel is filthy. This has nothing to do with normal India dirty, this is really filthy. The hot water rarely works, and the food available upstairs is limited at best. The hotel can order some great food from the local resturant, which is a good bet, as its the best option when you tired. There are plenty of chanels on the T.V, and the rooms have some size on them dispite the filth. Overall, its notsomewhere I would recomend to stay, but it will do for a bed, and a cold shower.
Of my 15 years of travel and being a consultant to several travel agencies this is by far the worst hotel I have ever come across. Thats no exaggeration. Raunak Plaza and Raunak International are owned by the same shaddy owner. They post pictures on their website of the better hotel (Raunak International) then gave us a room in the run down, dirty Raunak Plaza. The hotel is at the end of a narrow road surrounded by garbage and can hear several dogs barking throughout the night. The room windows are terrible and lets in the cold or warm air depending what time of the year it is. Room had no air conditioning or fan. Upon entering the room it just felt dirty. Bathroom seemed like it had not been washed in months. Soap crud and dirty floors all over. We had our booking in January when its about 60F or cooler at night and 70F during the afternoon. When we got to the room at about 10pm there was no heat. When asked for a space heater, they said we would have to pay for one thats if they can get one. But they did not have any. We managed to spend a night listening to dogs fight and bark all night long thanks to the bad windows. The room has no locks so we stuck a chair in the door way to keep the door locked. Bathroom had no toilet paper and smelt bad. When we went for breakfast the next morning, There was a dirty area where the food was kept. There was enough grease on the food to kill an animal. We left without eating. When we went to check out they tried to force us to stay for the 2 more nights we were booked. We had to tell them that their service sucked so bad that we cant stay. Then they tried to tell us we had to pay more cause our booking was for 3 days not 1 even though there was no such offer made while booking. Then their credit card machine "stopped working" they claimed. So we made a cash payment into their bank account. Next they couldn't provide an invoice for the payment. Their manager or owner whoever he is was absolutely rude. Started raising his voice and throwing baseless accusations. Then they tried to stop us from leaving even after we paid. We had to fight our way out. They had their so called staff members violate and harass us. They physically abused and assaulted my companion. Their so called thugs grabbed her and tried to stop her from leaving. Then once outside they grabbed us and tried to rip her clothes. It was disgusting and appalling. People like these have no sense of right and attack a lady who was helpless. DO NOT STAY at either of their 2 hotels. If you value your safety and well being stay away from here. If you risk staying here keep your valuables locked away and keep a close eye on your belongings.
I stayed in this hotel twice, first Dec 27 -29 2010 and second time three weeks later for a single night. First time we were in a room with no windows at the top of the stairs, second time in one of the suites above the reception area. Both rooms had their equal share of negatives and the only deciding factor as to which was better would be how heavy a sleeper you are, and or if not sleeping is your plan. The suite is much nicer room but you will feel as if the city is having a parade in your room. Having spent time in India I can say this hotel is as bad as a hotel I stayed in (only equaled by a god awful place in Pushkar). That said I was apart of a tour group and must say thinking back I wasn't that put out by the hotels amenities. I had expected rubbish and the hotel met that expectation. As a location it was central and a short walk to the Karol Burgh train stop. The neighbourhood isn't for the faint hearted but neither is Delhi. I look back fondly of my time in India and have to say that there are worse places to be staying but as hotels go this was awful, the second star in my rating is for the staff, and nostalgia sake.
