I had good experience at hotel. Rooms are nice bathroom is good . Breakfast is good with many choices extra banana and Muffin also. Reception Staff Mr. Sukhi and Om is very helpful and polite. They give all answered my questions . Stay again Mr Singh
I stays here whenever in New Delhi and always greeted with the warm welcome at the hotel to the moment I checked out I really enjoyed my stay, modern & clean rooms, very efficient staff. I really felt at home in this Hotel. The rooftop restaurant proved to be the best place I found in Delhi, the delicious food being served up by the friendly & efficient staff. Breakfast was also very good with many choices. Located centrally, very convenient to go anywhere in New Delhi.
Room is good and provide room service. 4/5 Breakfast is not too bad. 3/5 Management is not so good in this situation 1/5. I wanted to book a car to drop at the airport. I asked if I can pay with card (with the room bill), because I didn't have enough cash in this demonetisation. First moment he said yes I can pay with card. After awhile I got a call that I have to pay deposit for car with cash and pay the rest with cash. I told them I didn't have enough cash, I tried to get cash at many atms but no cash available. I offered to swipe card and they can charge me higher prize. But they said they want cash. They sent me out to find ATM (with one staff going out with me) and we had to walk all around try almost 20 atms and found no cash. What is it?! I have to spend more than an hour outside for my last day finding atms (that have cash available) for paying in the hotel, which has swipe card machine but they cannot manage about it. Even I offered my last cash that I have and offer to pay the rest with card and charge more. This is very very inconvenient!!!!
The rooms were ok and the breakfast wan't bad. But apart from that, this hotel is nothing special. It is down a dirty side street, so hard to find. Not a particularly useful location, except for New Delhi station. A few too many "helpful" staff hanging around at all hours of the day - looking for tips for absolutely anything. I hate to accuse, but some money went missing around this time. Maybe we misplaced it, but... The "free" airport pick up costs 250 rupees for "parking". It's nice to have someone waiting for you at the airport, but that's about it. My brother and mother used it, but since there are 2 waiting areas in the airport, they couldn't find the driver and basically gave up and headed to the metro, then they finally found the driver. Bless him, he had been waiting 2 hours. The drive to the hotel then took 2 hours because of traffic. I arrived alone later and took the metro - 20 mins or so to New Delhi station and cost me 60 rupees, so probably a better option (although the hotel was hard to find from the metro station). Basically, I think you should look somewhere else.
The hotel self is good price and clean. "Most" working people are polite. Top floor restaurant efforts to provide sufficient contents and quality service (for example, freshly cooked egg or pancake) for the included buffet breakfast with a limited budget. At this room price, I am satisfied. We take three time for dinner. it was taste good, service good and price was acceptable. The only issues, and woest issue, making us an unhappy experience was annoying one day Agra trip book with hotel. Totally waste money and time. Why this hotel is response for the bad travel services? because the front desk strongly recommended us to book trip with them. That is why when the tour service is in low quality, the hotel is significantly liable for this. About the tour, I need to state that we have been Delhi many times and meet many different situation. We understand what is India common standard of service, even not satisfied, but mostly we accepted. However, this one is NOT. First, we had a bumpy old box car. it was not comfortable but OK, although our waist were quickly tired. the problem is about the driver, or "guide" made the situation worse and almost nothing enjoy on the road. The one day trip charged us price Rp7000 for one car (2 people), but the tour experience was the worst one in India. At the moment we get on car, the driver started to emphasize one thing. ~How poor of him and how low of his salary. He always only targeted on one thing, the tips, all the way. "You give me tips, You happy and I happy" this we hear about 20 times on our one day trip, all the way! manner frivolous, he never paid attention to traveler's need . Except the tips or something he may get the profit, nothing was important for our trip! His English is good only when he asking for the tip, otherwise, in-communicatable. He didn't understand or didn't want to understand or didn't care our need. We need to refuse he's unwant suggestion very very hard . We were looking for a drug store for a band-aid, he didn't understand. When we booked the trip, we stated very clear we don't want a local guide in Taj, we just want to get in ourselves (this is very basic and easy request). The man at the travel desk has promised us and just say "of course" "no problem"! but the driver just still tried to push us to accept a local guide once and once again! He effort to pursuit us to skip the places where supposed to be on tour, and try to go back to Delhi hurry and hurry once he found us don't go his shop, not easy to be cheated or not so cooperated with him. This trip was very unhappy and nervous trip. I don't know the relationship between the travel desk and the hotel. I just feel the quality of tour drivers was totally uncontrolled, unselected, or, out of control. You may stay with them, I suggest you to avoid the hotel's any travel service. Find a good reputation one, or go with DTTD, at least DTTD it is much cheaper and more reflex!
