Comfortable stay for transit and short stay..

Hotel is located centrally in the main city. Our room was well maintained with all the facilities. Staff did their work honestly. We had breakfast in the restaurant it was fantastic in taste. It's quite a nice hotel.

Hotel is located in the center of the city. Our room was not so great in looking, the interiors were not appealing. The service provided by the staff was average. Even the food was decent in taste. Altogether this is an average property.

(1) The room had no ventilation (no windows!), it was damp and had no natural sunlight and was hence extremely cold. (2) The room service/house keeping numbers never worked, as in no one ever picked up those lines. I always had a great deal of trouble in getting even a bottle of water sent to my room. I eventually had to resort to buying water from outside before returning to the hotel for the night. (3) The room was extremely noisy which I gather was from the staff working downstairs, the market right next to the hotel and the staff quarters upstairs. Besides, the walls are extremely thin and I could hear a TV playing in the next room or someone walking by the corridor. All this made it difficult to stay in bed beyond 6:00 AM. There were a bunch of other minor issues - hot water doesn't run for more than 5 minutes, TV picture+sound quality was quite poor, room maintenance is disappointing (there were rolls and used tissues lying on the bathroom floor when I first checked in), the behavior of the staff in general is quite rude, etc. I had to check out of the hotel a week before my scheduled check out date. At the reception I was told that the remaining amount would be refunded by Travel Guru while Travel Guru told me they would speak with the hotel manager and get back to me. That was the last I heard from Travel Guru. To this date, every time I have tried contacting them they have said the same thing "we will call you right back", but never have they actually done that. My suggestion would be to avoid this hotel at any cost. Further, try and get a written/verbal confirmation of refunds from Travel Guru. Incidentally, my hotel booking brochure from Travel Guru clearly mentioned that a refund could be availed but when the time came Travel Guru simply seemed to refuse. Worse, Travel Guru representatives have actually gone the distance of accusing me of "lying" about my concerns with the hotel room (the name of a particularly rude representative, the rudest I would say, was Prashant Bhalekar). Think twice - there is no dearth of travel websites. For instance, makemytrip and expedia have never disappointed me with their services.

Went for a dinner last month with my friend. The place is just like any other and nothing great about their Chinese or Mughlai. Its just an average Indian food. Not going back for sure. If you are looking for a place for a group gathering then it may suite your need.

I was invited to a birthday party at this restaurant in Malviya Nagar in South Delhi. The service was poor, the food was okay and everything told me that the management of this restaurant don't give a damn for repeat biz. Later, I asked my host, my cousin who told me that for a party of 35 persons, they charged a good sum but when it came to service, you keep asking n the waiter was told to just ignore the calls. I'd totally avoid this restaurant because there are so many other joints of quality in the area.

The hotel is bang opposite the main market at Malviya Nagar Small and Cozy limited staff Rooms are ok for a business trips but can be better if the management gives attention Smelt smoking guests in the neighbouring rooms The linen is good the room are quiet large for the city like delhi A bit old set up hence some maintenance needed As you step out you are on the main road Taxi auto shopping by and walks are a pleasure at this spot The hotel is not so known to people especially autos and taxis The food at the restaurant is good The special tariff what I was charged was good Would definitely suggest this hotel to any one looking for an accommodation around Malviya Nagar for sure

The reception area is small and the elevator entry is cramped. The room was clean and fine for a night's stay. The bathroom was clean and had wall partitioned shower area. A lot of noise and disturbance from surrounding guests or anyone else. The hotel is close to many good eating spots and has a restaurant next door.

Last month on my trip to Delhi. I had a 2 night stay in Swagath hotel, which is technically only hotel in busy market area of Malviya Nagar of South Delhi. It is just an average hotel, with a ting reception. Rooms are okay, if they are clean, manageable for budget travelers. In Room dinning is available, though food was very bad. the worst part is it is too noisy, especially if you have unfriendly and unprofessional guest, there was 1 rooms very noisy, on both nights i experienced real un comfort, where some boys and girls where staying together, as night progress, the room use to become more noisy and screams where coming out, more in joy, as there was laugh and shouting. No one tolerate this kind of behavior and earlier also, i have experienced this kind of problem, in another Oyo room managed property.
