Dear All, just want to make aware every one of the cheap, fraudster & cheat management of J P Hotel & Resort (NH 24 | 6B Patparganj, IP Extension, behind CNG Petrol Pump, New Delhi 110092, India) which spoiled new year eve of all the guests who came to celebrate the occasion along with kids, parents and families after paying advance dues and party tickets from their hard-earned money and made people to drink expired alcoholic beverages and water and harassed their dignity and faith and violated rights of common man.
We paid Rs 8750 for 5 Adults in advance via receipt number #4735 via out credit cards -which included access to the premium basement ball room with buffet, drinks, DJ and some dance events promised by management.
We reached around 8:30 PM and found that the entire hall room in fully occupied and there was no provision to be seated, surprisingly at that time when only 20 -30 % guests have checked in. Soon the hall started getting crowded & Chaotic people started pleading to get seats for at least for old peoples, infants & kids, but all requests felt on the deaf ears of the Hotel management. Soon the situation aroused where people started snatching each other seats. A woman near me who wanted to breast feed her baby was lingering here and there to get a place to sit and attend here child.
We and other guests keep on requesting the management to do some arrangements, but they ignored and told us that once DJ will shoot up all guests will move down to the dance floor and we can sit in succession.
To add bitterness DJ itself got technical issues and was not able to kick-start, once started guests realized that the dance floor was too small for so many guests trying to get hold of even couple of inches of floor & breathing space to move their hand and feet around, dance floor was miniature in proportion of the crowd invited and it started causing pushing and pulling and guests were falling on each other, especially women.
Few minutes later when we moved aside of the nuisance which was increasing with every passing moment and tried to get hold of some food from a small metallic snack counter placed at the corner of the hall & found that the snack counter in almost vacant with no plates, tissues, disposable available and people were forcibly picking the food with bare hands which was very unhygienic. We keep on requesting the Lady manager on duty but she said nothing much can be done. There were very limited staff and servers for drinks, juices, water and snacks which were also helpless.
Getting nothing to eat & no place to sit we checked-in at bear counter and surprisingly the bear bootless were expired, Budweiser was expired for more than a year and kingfisher for around Six months. People were drinking expired beverages which challenged the patience level of crows and created complete chaos & turmoil.
Soon I called 100 and intimated Delhi police who thankfully reached in large number and I got a confirmation call from 8920401417 (Delhi Police). Police staff including SHO, SI, Constables and even the local IPS officer reached the hotel and seized the expired beer, water and beverages in large quantities, we all requested for refund which was not given.
We all lodged a police complaint and submitted our contact details, as witnesses & have full trust on Delhi Police, will keep connecting the dots and submitting the evidences in form of the photographs, complaints, call records etc.
Requesting Delhi Police to act on this matter and get ours hard earned money back as we all are bluffed and cheated.
Its very difficult for me to write this review as I had a mixed bag experience at this place.I had got a good deal to stay at this place and I took it.
The 1st thing I liked abt this hotel is that its away from the main road and around it there is a lot of open spaces. Its about 3 kms from Akshardham Metro station and a new Metro line is coming up abt half km from it. So connectivity is a plus point.
However, I had a extremely bad experience after check in. My check in was quick and the room was extremely spacious. I had requested for a two single beds and for the 1st time I saw single beds huge enough to accommodate two small built people. I was like wow and then I looked at the ceiling fan and I was stunned.
The ceiling fan had one huge thick layer of dirt. One can easily make out that it was not cleaned in months. And then I looked at the central AC vent and there again was a huge layer of dirt. I lost it and immediately called the house keeping staff and gave them a firing and got the AC vent and fan cleaned and told them to change the bed sheet when I am go for lunch. And then when I inquired where is the switch of the fan, the knob was missing. I had to again give them another round of firing. I asked the housekeeping manager what is his job if I had to tell them what to do. However, when I did come back in the evening to the room, the bed sheets were changed and fan knob was fixed.
The bathroom was clean but there was no hair dryer which was a little surprising and I had to call the reception and ask for it. JP considers themselves as a 4 star hotel and they should have a hair dryer in all their bathrooms
The remaining stay went fine. The staff is nice and friendly. The food is ok but the buffet breakfast is very disappointing. For Rs. 350, there was not much choice to eat at all. And you can't serve porridge as one of your main items for breakfast :(
Overall, it was mixed bag stay at this place. If I come to Delhi and stay in this part of town I won't mind staying here again but this place needs some good maintenance.
Really impressed by the cordial arrangement by the management, polite and humble staff, they know how to take care of their guests. All minute arrangements right from ambience to catering and food were looked into.All our guests were impressed.

I alongwith my friends visited the hotel for drink and dine. I was so impressed by the services they provided, the quality of food was excellent and the behaviour of the staff was so co-operative. The ambiance of restaurant was also good.
Poor quality of buffet breakfast served..even ala carte dinner served in room is not good. Rooms and bathrooms neat and clean but requires maintainence. Backend staff polite and cooperative. Room service is delayed.
