Well maintained JW Marriott quality. Food was outstanding - quality, authentic, presentation, choice and taste. I do not need to find another place in Delhi to stay. Security is at par or better than Airport screening.

Located right outside T3 terminal, this modern property saves enormous time and efforts for business travelers to reach their Hotels from the airport. Modern facility, many eating options, a great lounge for business travelers (those eligible to access) and over all an ideal location for business travelers.

The JW Marriott in New Delhi Aerocity is an ideal hotel for business travellers spending a few days in the National Capitol Region. Located in the recently constructed Aerocity Development and just 15 minutes from the airport, even in traffic, the JW Marriott offers comfort, quiet, good food and easy access to both central New Delhi and Garugan. I stayed their in early February 2017 for a conference and was impressed by the staff and the facility. While it's not the best location for tourists or for exploring Delhi, if you have business in and around New Delhi, especially in Gurgaon, the JW Marriott is an excellent choice and the best hotel in the Aerocity.

The rooms, the overall service, and the food are fine. I think the hotel is run well. My problems relate to back office issues. For example one common theme is no credit for stays so that i have to waste my time contacting Marriott Rewards and making sure I am credited. I stayed at the hotel from 29 Jan to 2 Feb and 5 Feb to 10 Feb. I never got credit for the earlier stay even though i followed up with staff during the second stay. They assured me that the earlier stay was credited. Not true. In addition, upon checking out on 10 Feb I told them that I wanted to be charged in INR. In fact, i was charged in my home currency. Both these examples are not the first time for these issues. Running theme I attribute to management issues.

1. We've been staying at JW Marriott since Mar 2016 whenever in the city. The biggest plus point is the proximity to the airport and the service (of course). 2. Being a Marriott property, the expectations have been extremely high and JW Marriott Aerocity did deliver. 3. However, the service standards seems to have dropped in our last two visits,,,especially while we stayed with them from 17 February to 19 February 2017. Some of the issues we faced were:- (a) The executive at the reception who attended to us during the check in seemed to tired and had an unwelcome look on her face, as if she was bothered by us being there. (b) When we went to room, we could make out that the room was hastily prepared and a lot many items were missing or not replaced. (c) When we came back from a hectic day in the city, the room keys were not working. While we were making our way to the reception to get it fixed, a Housekeeping staff asked us about the problem and then asked us about the room number and name. When we told him, he had the audacity to tell us that it wasn't our room because it's in someone else name. However, when he saw we were annoyed by his statement he willing opened the room and got a new key for us. (c) On entering the room, we realised that the room again wasn't cleaned as per the standards expected. There was cigarette ash and burned matchsticks around on the floor. The tea/coffee sachets weren't replaced so we had to ask for them. And when the Housekeeping staff got them, the coffee sachets were still missing. Poor show..! (d) We went to the bar for a drink in the evening of 17 Feb ,,ordered a beer and a cocktail along with an appetizer. The drinks came.......were repeated but the appetizers didn't come,,even after 45 minutes. Surprisingly, they had completely forgotten about the appetizers. Completely unprofessional and not expected from a Marriott property. 4. The room service was spot on again, and the quality of food was as usually great. Thumbs up to them ! 5. It's however sad to see your favourite hotel go down in standards. With so many options in aerocity, there's a doubt in our mind now about JW Marriott Aerocity. Hope you'll pull up socks and be what you're all about....GREAT SERVICE
